Obama dooms Orthodox Church damaged by Sandy - says he's going to fix it!

President Obama said in front of a church devastated by Hurricane Sandy in New York that “”We’ve got some work to do and I want you to know I’m here to do it.” Here’s more, from the pool report:

Potus toured a street with many damaged homes. He talked with locals in front of a home whose front was partially missing and next to another that caved in on itself. The water was a few hundred feet away.

“We’ve got some work to do and I want you to know I’m here to do it,” Potus said to a crowd outside a boarded up brick church called “St. George Malankara Orthodox Church of India Inc.”

The small crowd outside the church thanked the president and Mayor Bloomberg and the local boro president.

Obama then delivered remarks and stated, “I said we are going to be here until the rebuilding is complete. And I meant it. So I’m going to come back today but I’m also going to be coming back in the future to make sure we have followed through on that commitment.”
