Ted Gunderson Is not a nice guy:On April 1st, 2000, in the second hour of his talk radio program hearing by 15 million fans, Art Bell announced his retirement from radio broadcasting. Art Bell’s announcement:

In order that you all understand the gravity of the announcement I’m about to make, it’s going to be necessary for me to repeat some very painful events that have occurred to my family over the past several years.

On May 16th of the year 1997, my son, Art Bell IV, was kidnapped, transported across state lines and raped by a substitute teacher from his own high school. The assailant was HIV positive. My son was a minor. He was only 16 years old at the time.

The teacher involved was tried, convicted and is now serving a life sentence. My son though, as you might imagine, was sent into a psychological tailspin which continues to this very day. We are trying very very hard to help him recover and lead a more normal life. Some positive events have occurred toward that end and your prayers are welcome. Please keep them coming.

While the police work and the trial of my son’s assailant were underway, difficult as it was for me to continue my daily radio programs, I did so. Because my son was a minor at the time of the crime, the records were sealed, his name was not made public, something our society does to protect its own, its future, its young people.

As our family was working through this trauma in private, an event beyond all bounds of decency and humanity occurred. On December 9th of 1997, just a few months after my son’s ordeal, my own began. Ted Gunderson, a retired FBI agent, along with David Hinkson and the assistance of others, aired a broadcast which – incredibly, absolutely incredibly – accused me of committing the very same crime my son had suffered, child molestation. The program further stated that I had paid
to cover up an indictment in Nye County, Nevada, my home. It further urged listeners to call me “on air” and ask if I had been indicted. Of course, these accusations were entirely false. But, never the less the calls poured into my open line unscreened program, asking if this was true. I had no choice but to block out all these calls and keep my silence for fear of my son’s situation becoming public. This broadcast was made on WWCR, world wide short-wave radio, in Nashville, Tennessee. This station has been described by newspapers and civic minded organizations as one of the country’s leading broadcasters of hate radio. The individuals, WWCR and its sister-station WNQM, In addition to broadcasting these proponents of hate and violence, this radio station has consciously decided not to spend money on a delay switch, not to conduct a careful background check of the people it places on the air and to allow individuals to say almost anything they want in foreign languages without having staff on duty who can even understand what they are saying.

In my opinion, WWCR is one of the most irresponsible stations permitted to broadcast over the airwaves of this country.

Now the fallout from that broadcast has been unbelievable. Besides the unrelenting accusatory calls, others repeated this false rumor as though it was fact, resulting in several related lawsuits. Many of you may have heard my defense played out on the airwaves and the Internet.

No matter how hard I have tried to set the record straight, my torment and that of my family continues. Recently, a radio host in Toronto, Canada opened his morning show with the words “I am Art Bell and I molest little children”. All of this sent me into a psychological tailspin. I felt I had been dealt a blow I might not recover from. Still I continued my nightly broadcasts as best I could.

In October of 1998, my son came to a crisis point, a situation so critical that nothing but my full-time attention would help. So, on that fateful day, October 13th of 1998, I resigned on air with no intention of returning. But thanks to the efforts of my network, my best friend Alan Corbeth, Kraig Kitchin (CEO of Premiere Networks) and Randy Micheals [CEO of Clear Channel], I was able to return, but the pressure of having to defend myself against baseless, vile claims that I was a
child molester eventually forced me to reduce my on air hours. Why the individuals behind the December 9, 1997 broadcast by WWCR decided to make such a patently false and harmful broadcast remains for the courts to decide. A major moment in this litigation is going to occur April 28th in Nashville, Tennessee. If justice prevails, a trial, perhaps a protracted one, may follow. It would be untrue for me to say this has not affected my air work, it has. It would be unfair to all of you, not to give you my full-time best. I can no longer do that. The reality that after suffering the fate of my son’s own molestation, I now stand destined to be tainted for life as a child molester, has proven simply too much to bear. God knows, I have tried.

For my Son, I pray that somehow his wounds will heal, his mind’s troubles fade into something of a normal life. For myself an ordeal looms ahead to clear my good name of accusations I committed a crime, committed against my own son. Nobody ever said life would be fair, only to be lived as the hand is dealt to you. For all the years of joy my work has provided, I want to thank all of you and
whatever creative force allowed it.

I have decided to retire from the broadcast business at the end of this month, my last show to be April 26, 2000. I will not do any media interviews on this subject. I have already said more than any private person would have said, a private world I now look forward to returning to. The UN Climate Change Conference (UNCCC) has begun in Qatar, Saudi Arabia. Alarmists and eco-fascists have gathered from more than 200 nations for two weeks of talks that demonize greenhouse emissions and the nations that emit the most.

This conference endeavors to create a new global climate mandate that will be finalized by 2015 and go into effect internationally in 2020.

Earlier this month, in a new study published by the World Bank, there is a call for “stepping up efforts” to meet the global carbon reduction levels to avert catastrophic consequences that would cause of the planet’s temperature to rise an estimated 4 degrees Celsius before the end of the century.

Alarmists like Jim Yong Kim, president of the World Bank, decry lowering CO2 emissions must be reduced before the temperature threshold is crossed and “widespread crop failures and malnutrition and dislocate large numbers of people from land inundated by rising seas.”

Kim is trying to coerce sovereign nations to adopt UN mandates on carbon emissions by urging world leaders to become aggressive with eco-friendly planning in developing countries to offset their impact on the environment.

Jonathan Pershing, US delegate attending the UNCCC, claims that Obama and the US deserve more credit for attempting to curb American CO2 emissions. Pershing said: “Those who don’t follow what the US is doing may not be informed of the scale and extent of the effort, but it’s enormous.”

Newly re-selected President Obama recently announced his commitment to “tackle the issue of climate change.”

In his victory rally speech, Obama explained that he did not believe it was fair to “burden” our children to live in a world that is “threatened by the destructive power of a warming planet.” The day after Obama was declared Commander-in-Communism, he asserted that instilling carbon taxes would “help cut the US budget deficit.”

Beginning at $20 per metric ton of carbon dioxide tax, which would be raised 6% annually would be “applied to the Congressional Budget Office’s 2012 baseline, this would halve the fiscal deficit by 2022.”

The UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon is proud to be working with Obama and continuing enterprises to confront global climate change. Ban said: “. . . the United Nations will continue to count on the active engagement of the United States on these and other crucial issue as it strives to meet the hopes and expectations of people around the world.”

At the UNCCC talks, the issue of funding to “fight and defend against climate change” became an issue with only two days of discussion thus far. The UN is expecting a contribution to the tune of $100 billion from developed nations for projects that will manifest in 2020.

The references to “fast-start finance” have created tension between the UN and developed nations that have not delivered the monies promised. In June, at the UN Conference on Sustainable Development Rio+20, governments and private sector corporations have pledged to fund the UN’s endeavors toward global governance with a generous $513 billion for Agenda 21 project that will restrict the movements of humans, perverse biodiversity and assist the UN in attaining their Millennium Development Goals.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon was thrilled that so much money had been given to the UN. “These huge numbers give a sense of the scale and growth of investment going into sustainable development. They are part of a growing global movement for change. Our job now is to create a critical mass, an irresistible momentum.”

Corporations like PepsiCo, and Virgin’s CEO Richard Branson project Carbon War Room are receiving $2 billion from the US government. Academia and universities in places like Beijing, Sydney, Paris and New York will conduct and fund Agenda 21 projects on mega-city sustainability. Most of the $1 trillion allotted will go to projects in turbine, solar, biofuel and geothermal energy.

The European Union, US Japan and other nations have given $23.6 billion so far to the UN, according to the International Institute for Environment and Development; (IIED) however even this falls short of the amount promised and frustrates the UN for demanding funding. Funding for the UN is being deposited at HSBC in London.

The IIED plans to use the UNCCC to exact propaganda against humanity for the betterment of the planet. Their hope is to initiate “steps . . . towards reaching a global agreement that can shift us off our current inexorable trajectory towards unprecedented global warming.”

Another mode of the IIED is to motivate citizens in developed nations to clamor for climate change mandates and pressure their governments to comply with the non-governmental organizations (NGOs) suggestions. By networking with local members of communities and deliver ideology that can be implemented at the local level, climate change advocacy can reach a new level of influence.

Eco-fascists are also hoping to make ecocide the next punishable crime that would legally force humanity to conform to the mandates of Agenda 21 or suffer the consequences.

Ecocide is defined as “the extensive damage to, destruction of or loss of ecosystem(s) of a given territory, whether by human agency or by other causes, to such an extent that peaceful enjoyment by the inhabitants of that territory has been or will be severely diminished.”

The demonization of humanity is central to ecocide where human effects on the planet are classified as unsustainable and having irreversible consequences; hence requiring a criminal mandate that can be internationally enforced to protect the planetary boundaries of our world.

The Law of Ecocide promises to “prosecute those who destroy the planet.” And when made a legitimate legal mandate, alarmists and eco-fascists will finally have the judiciary standing to unilaterally prevent any atrocities perpetuated upon the planet by corporation or individual.

While these fanatics complain that governments have yet to “intervene to make the destruction of our world a crime” the law enforcement and justice system of sovereign nations have their hands tied. With the advent of a global mandate, those nations would be forced to adhere to global governance and punish those found guilty by international law.

Defined in the proposed Ecocide Act, all nations, corporations and individuals would be “under the principle of superior responsibility” and legal obligation to “ensure their actions do not give rise to the risk of and/or actual extensive damage to/or destruction of or loss of ecosystem(s).”
