The Smithsonian Institution was started in 1829 when an eccentric British millionaire, by the name of James Smithson, died and left $515,169 to create an institution “for the increase and diffusion of knowledge among men.” Unfortunately, there is evidence the Smithsonian has been more active in the suppression of knowledge… than the diffusion of it for the last hundred years.
The cover-up and alleged suppression of archaeological evidence began in late 1881 when John Wesley Powell, the geologist famous for exploring the Grand Canyon, appointed Cyrus Thomas as the director of the Eastern Mound Division of the Smithsonian Institution’s Bureau of Ethnology.Ivan T. The Alaskan mound was in fact a graveyard of gigantic human remains, consisting of crania and long leg bones.
The crania measured from 22 to 24 inches from base to crown. Since an adult skull normally measures about eight inches from back to front such a large crania would imply an immense size for a normally proportioned human.
Hence…Smithsonian Institution is in the business of “hiding our true history” more than preserving it!

i read your whole article and then went on to google in hope of finding proof of giant human skeletons. i found nothing. if someone took them and hid them, i don’t know. there are newspaper stories, that is not tangible proof we can see today. i do believe in the bible, but like aliens and giants, people hide things for who knows what reason. and it ain’t right!

For a long time, eons I would guess many people found massive bones, pieces of skeletons and thought they were giant bones but were ‘sometimes’ just bones from dinosaurs.
I can not say 100% that is earths history there were not a larger hominid then sapiens. We even have had the odd really really tall person as well. They are rare and have health problems but we have had tall people. If people found one single bone, then maybe you could see how someone could be confused between dino bones and giants bt you are denying the existence of giants ….all while ignoring the pic of the 8 footer! Also people have found THOUSANDS of full skeletons of giant humanoids. There’s no mistaking that. You are referencing people w/ acromegaly which is a defective pituitary gland that keeps the body growing until death. But ancient giants weren’t feeble, they were powerful. To find this place and others, follow interstate 94 east from madison. Right off and just south of 94 you will find aztalan park and west of there just about a mile is rock lake where they found a rock pyramid under water at rock lake.
Delavan is further south of 94 and that area from delavan to burlington down to beloit has some ancient history fo dog man, dinosaur bone pits where they were carved up to food and other historical facts.
It’s not “94 East”… it’s “94 West”. Otherwise, you could end up in the big drink (i.e., Lake Michigan).
Lake Delavan is kind of near Lake Geneva – it is right off of Hwy 43. However, if you take 94 West, you can get off at Hwy 67 and head south to the lake.
Also of interest, there are elephant bones in Lake Delavan… because in the mid 1800s, an elephant, wintering with a circus at what is now Lake Lawn Lodge, died. Since it was winter and the ground was frozen, they pushed the elephant out into the lake. Did not know about the giant bones in Lake Delavan and near the area – that is very interesting. I have family there.

Ummmm.. an “ancient skeletal remain” with flesh attached? It even appears to be standing on its own, although this could be a photo of the remains in a box stood up for display. I’ve seen many burials mounds in my life and none of the remains has flesh unless it’s been in a bog, and they look more like raisins. I believe giants were here once, just that this photo looks like something from the Wax Museum.
