Interesting scenario. However I highly doubt that Russia would want to jump in to a fight against India and China. The think you have to understand is there is a large Chinese population working in the Russian Far-East, also Russia is cut in half by the Ural Mountains.
Most of the population of Russia lives west of the Urals. There is only one major land route going east to west, the Trans Siberian Railway which was built prior to 1919 which is not in the best condition and would be easily knocked out by Chinese Air strikes. Which would leave only Air Transportation to supply the Far East.
Russia would stand to lose more that it would gain if it were to go against China.
Also you have to look at one other major factor China imports vast amounts of resources including food. If China were to get in to a fight against the United States she would be cut off form those resources which would have a dire effect.
I think we can safely assume that the major powers will try to keep things cool for the time being. At least until China has a Navy that can take on the US Navy or the US is forces due to economic conditions to retract and down size its global foot print .
