Hayden’s Note: Military Helicopters Terrorize Houston, “Warzone” – The New Normal

The sight of Army helicopters and the sound of gunfire created a lot of concern Monday afternoon in one Houston neighborhood.

With military helicopters flying above her southeast Houston neighborhood, Frances Jerrals didn’t know what to think.

“…it sounds like we’re in a war zone. Guns, shooting, helicopters flying around the house,’” Isaac Robertson Jr. said.

The U.S. Army, along with other agencies, took over the old Carnegie Vanguard High School near Scott and Airport. There were armed men in fatigues, plenty of weapons and what many thought were real live rounds.

“I felt like I was in a warzone.” Jerrals said. “It was nonstop. I was terrified.”

“If it’s to protect our kids, I’m all for it,” neighbor Glenn DeWitt said. 

Hayden’s Note:

THIS is the problem. Fear mongering, complacency, and a sheeple mentality: handing over all critical thinking skills and effort to the government will come with a heavy price. Mr. Glenn DeWitt believes that the US military is training to protect our school children. This has become the “new normal.”

News flash, Mr. DeWitt! The government doesn’t care about protecting your children. They are not going to use helicopters, drone missiles, or the 1.6 billion rounds of JHP .40 caliber pistol ammunition they purchased to protect your kid at school! Our modern government acts in self-interest and self-preservation only.

For anyone with even an ounce of understanding how military and law enforcement work, let that sink in for a moment. To start with, traditional military units can not assist in domestic law enforcement duties. We all learned about this restriction back in elementary school and it is called the Posse Comitatus Act.

Secondly, OH-6 little birds carrying special forces soldiers operating in a neighborhood, without warning, is beyond disrespectful and obnoxious. It clearly incited panic, fear, and terror in those living nearby.  But we’ve gotten used to that, haven’t we?

Heavily armed SWAT enforcers are on every subway; military soldiers at airports, TSA VIPR teams at bus stations and random highway checkpoints. We are being indoctrinated, incrementally, to accept this new Police State; this constant level of readiness and adrenaline, suggesting that at any moment, we will all die or be involved in some horrendous incident that only the government can protect us from.

I would like to take the time to offer the dictionary definition of terrorism:

I don’t think I really need to say much else.
