Mayan end is 21 March 2013 - human sacrifice & sinkholes

The Mayan calendar actually ends on 21 March 2013, on the Spring Equinox.

Collapsing sinkholes are everywhere now – all over the world, and have been prominent in the news for 5 years.

The Mayans were big into sinkholes, and they had 2 of them right there at Chichen Itza (local name, cenote), and they were used as wells. Chichen Itza means, ‘at the mouth of the well of the itza’ – the itza were the Mayan people who spoke the itza language. Chaac was a Mayan rain god who lived at the bottom of the well. Chaac is depicted as an old man with reptilian features, sometimes crying (depicting rain) and is associated with the frog. Kukulkan (mayan equivalent of the Aztec Quetzalcoatl, and of many other gods, including Jesus), was the feathered serpent god, in honour of which El Castillo (the pyramid) was built at Chichen Itza. According to legend, Kukulkan always travels ahead of Chaac, helping to predict the rains.

The return of the messiah is due anytime now. George Kavassilas predicts that the rapture occurs on 21 March 2013. The messiah is analagous to Kukulkan, Quetzalcoatl, and many other gods worshipped by different groups. Quetzalcoatl coming back to life at a time of destruction, death and extinction of many species is depicted in one of the creepy paintings at Denver International Airport.

OK, back to Chaac, the rain god. Chaac had to be appeased with human sacrifices offered by throwing them into the well (sinkhole). One of the most famous ancient rituals was the Mayan sacrificial ritual, which occurred next to the pyramid at Chichen Itza, on the Spring Equinox. Young boys and girls were thrown into the well (sinkhole) in sacrifice for rain and crops.

This year, the Spring Equinox occurs on 21 March 2013, which is also the end of the Mayan calendar. At this time, the Louisana sinkhole is at a critical stage, and many predict will result in mass death. Sinking land has been depicted in several movies. The Georgia guidestones are 33 years old on march 22, 2013 (the twin towers were 33 years old on the exact day they were blown up). (33 is of course the highest degree of masonry).
