This world event is referred to as the rapture of the church. It will happen suddenly as the bible says“in the twinkling of an eye”. One thing is clear from scripture, and that is that the rapture WILL happen. When is debatable because the Bible does not specify that. What I am going to present here is the reason why the rapture is necessary instead of when it will happen. Personally I believe in the pre-tribulation rapture and I have scriptural reasons to believe that. But why is it necessary?
Revelation 19:14 and 1 Thessalonians 4:14 says that Jesus will return to earth with his saints. The saints are all the born again Christians who ever lived on this earth from the time of Adam and Eve to the time of the Rapture. 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 tells us that at the time of the rapture, the dead in Christ shall rise first, then those believers who are still alive will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air. So the rapture will include all believers that have ever lived on this earth up to the time of the rapture. After this the Great Tribulation starts and lasts for 7 years. So what are the saints going to do in heaven for those 7 years?
For those believers who think that when you die you will go to heaven and enjoy your new mansion with your own private pool and putting green in the back yard where you will live forever, think again, because the bible does not teach that. Yes, we will be caught up to heaven for 7 years, but we will also come back with Jesus when he sets up his kingdom on earth for 1000 years and reigns from Jerusalem. Therefore, we will live back here on earth for 1000 years with Christ. So what are we going to do in heaven for 7 years if we are coming back here to live?
When all the saints are raptured and meet the Lord in the air and are taken to heaven to be with the Lord, there will be people from all time periods, all races, all languages, and all cultures. Imagine if you fell asleep for 2000 years and then woke up. Things would be very different from what you remembered them being. That is what it will be like for many believers who lived many years ago. Whether we will all speak one language in heaven, or if we will speak all languages, or if we will communicate in some other way, I don’t know, but there will definitely have to be a time to get oriented and organized so that all believers can come together as one body with one understanding and purpose. And THIS is what I believe the 7 years in heaven is for. It’s to get us all up to speed and to train and teach us how things are going to be done on earth when we go back there.
When Jesus returns to earth with his saints, He will be entering a war zone. A place that has been totally devastated by 7 years of war, disease, famine, destruction, and riots. The bible says that if those days were not cut short no one would survive, so I wonder if we will even recognize it as the place we used to live. I have no doubt that some of those wars will be nuclear and the devastation will be horrific. This will all have to be cleaned up and made habitable again. Jesus is not going to wave a magic wand and voila it’s all beautiful again. There will be a lot of work to be done.
When Jesus returns he will also judge the remaining inhabitants of the earth and separate the sheep from the goats. The sheep will enter the 1000 year Millenium to re-populate the earth. The goats won’t. These sheep will be just like we are right now. They will still die when they are old, and they will still have to choose if they want to serve God or not, as will their offspring.
One of the biggest changes will be what type of business establishments will still be allowed to operate under Jesus’s rulership and which won’t. Bars, casino’s, nightclubs, strip joints, porn sites and movies, and the like will all have to be closed down and demolished. Many new churches will have to be built. School books will have to be re-written and teach that “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth”. TV shows will focus on good things and not crime, killing, gangs, war, cheating, and so on. Libraries will have to be re-vamped with many books thrown out and new ones written. We may not even use money, or maybe we will, and if we do, honest practices will be enforced. Do you see what I mean here? The bible says that Jesus will rule with “a rod of iron” because He will create a world in which righteousness reigns supreme and good deeds are recognized and encouraged. A world where everyone works for the good of everyone else. Where no one thinks of how they can benefit from something, but instead of how something can benefit everyone. It will be totally different from the life we are living right now.
There will be three types of people on the earth at that time. There will be the people like us (the sheep), there will be the resurrected saints who will have their heavenly bodies, and there will be the angels. I also think that every saint will be appointed to a new job. Maybe a town, city, village, state, or country to rule over along with many assistants to ensure that Jesus is represented everywhere in the world. (This is just my opinion.) Maybe some saints will be the school teachers that teach the children God’s ways. Maybe others will help poor war ravished countries to rebuild and be prosperous. There will be a thousand things that will need to be done and THIS is the reason why we need our 7 years in heaven. While all hell is breaking loose on earth, we will be in heaven learning from Jesus how we are going to re-build the earth when we go back. Then we will be well equipped and trained in God’s ways and our rewards will be our new appointments and responsibilities on earth when we return. And so we will indeed “reign with Christ”. I think this is what Jesus meant in Matthew 5:5 when he said “the meek shall inherit the earth”.
Won’t that be awesome! Finally life will be the way God intended it to be when He placed Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. One world, one nation under God, serving God. The life that is truly life. Where peace, love, and joy abound. I can’t wait. How about you??

Here is where the concept of a rapture vanishes.
shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven
to the other.
As shown in the scriptures above, the 5th, 6th and now the 7th Seals are complete,
except for the 7 Last Plagues which Christ will administer.
Christ is returning in Great Power and Glory AND then He sends His Angels, at the
7th Trumpet, to gather His Elect from the 4 winds, from one end of heaven to the
other.
Why, if Christ is bring His Elect from the Third Heaven, does He have to gather them
from the 4 winds and from one end of the first heaven to the other? Remember
Christ statement in John 14, “that where I am you may be also”. If they all come
together from the Third Heaven one would just assume they would all be together.
But Christ has to “gather” them from one end of heaven to the other and from the
4 winds which are in the atmosphere of earth?
Keep in mind that Seals 5, 6, and 7 are complete, and the Elect are still on earth either
as the dead in Christ or alive. It clearly states Christ is coming with great power and
glory and then He sends His Angels to gather His Elect. This is not a rapture.
For there to be a rapture it requires Christ, first, to come quietly and snatch away the Elect. Which produces this question, are there two sets of the Elect, and two returns of Christ? When He comes to earth as King of king and Lord of lords must He again gather together His Elect from the 4 winds? This would be two resurrections of the same people, the Saints?
This is just one of hundreds of problems caused by trying to make a rapture from scriptures that proclaim three resurrection. In Revelation it plainly states ‘This is the First Resurrection”, when a ‘first’ is shown, it demands a Second and with God three is the number of finality.
I am not going to argue the point with you because there are far more Bible Scholars that agree that there will be a rapture just like the Bible says. The arguments from Matthew 24 and Luke 21 and other prophecies confuse those that don’t separate what Jesus said to the church and what he said to the Jews. When you sort that out, it’s clear.
If you are suggesting two distinct groups of people, to whom different aspects of salvation apply, and for whom different commandments, instructions and promises were made, then you are preaching a message which is the exact opposite of the message contained in the written Word.
There are not two groups of His people. There is one.
There are not two sets of rules. There is one Torah.
There are not the Jews and the Gentiles. There is only Israel.

Belief in a pre-tribulation rapture REQUIRES that the Almighty cannot be taken at His Word.

Stop listening to ‘Bible Scholars’ and preachers and pastors and listen only to the Word. If you had never heard the message of the pre-tribulation rapture preached, you would NEVER, not in ten thousand years, have become convinced that such a message exists anywhere in the pages of Scripture.
Those who concocted this doctrine had someone whispering in their ear. Eve knew him well.
There is no weight of opinion on this matter. There is no Rapture, of all the faithful, mentioned in Scripture. The two passages you reference, certainly, do not evidence this fallacious contention.
You make the classic error in suggesting that people need to ‘sort out’ certain posits or they are unable to see clearly. That is very prejudicial and does not help the confused. Thankfully we have instant access to many translations of Scripture as well as readily available resources examining the original languages that The Inspired Word employed.
I was given the gift of discernment and the courage for my convictions for perhaps this purpose. By showing my own struggles through the mire of subterfusion. I hope that others might see that we are not reliant on “Scholars” interpretations for knowledge.
You are not the first to espouse this rapture doctrine on B4IN but thanks for your efforts. I hope you provide the impetus for others to check the validity of your claim and in doing so that Truth may overwhelm the incorrect notions of man.
What the Messiah revealed in Matthew 24 was in a private conversation with His Disciples (v3) to whom the Holy Spirit would later bring remembrance and understanding (John 14:26).
To say that the Disciples would interpret Jesus’ words differently before His Resurrection than after, alters the scriptural understanding of the Holy Spirit’s ability to deliver the Lord’s original meaning intact to the Saints even all the way down to our own times. (John 16)
What He said to “the Jews” can be found in Matthew 23. He did not mince words. They did not misunderstand His meaning. However, He did not entrust to “the Jews” any teaching of the end times — only His disciples.
You know something, agreement is a really funny thing. Fact is, you can get everyone there is to agree on something, and, if that something is not true, it’s not true, no matter how many people agree. Case in point, Al Gore’s science-settling “scientific consensus” regarding AGW. Have you ever heard or used the phrase, ‘it is what it is”? Well, it is what it is, and all the agreement in the entire universe won’t change it a bit.
The term “Bible Scholars” are akin to the Term “Peace Fighters”….. Just doesn’t make sense. There will never be such a thing as the rapture….. If ever it were to happen, all you goody-goody religious zealots would NOT be raptured, because you are majoritarily hypocrits, who do not even follow the real commandments of GOD.

No Bible scholars of worth have ever reached any consensus that a pre-trib “rapture” will occur. The “Bible scholars” you refer to are all Protestant heretics preaching nonsense that has already been rejected by the Church as heterodoxy centuries ago.
Please “sort that out” where the confusion is between what Messiah said to the church and what he said to the Jews. If it’s clear enough for you to see, it should be clear enough for you to express. Your argument can be found other places but no one spells it out. So teach us already. Yes, it’s very difficult to express something that is only “implied” or “inferred” as solid evidence for faith.
The second witness of Mark 13:3 also underscores Messiah’s teaching regarding the End Times as a private conversation between Himself, Peter, James, John and Andrew. It doesn’t get any more “church” than that. “The Jews” simply do not figure into the equation at all.
As you’ll see here and other places, many have abandoned the teaching they were “raised on” because the witness of scripture does not support a “secret rapture” explicitly.
The Testimony of the True Messiah will go into the Great Tribulation. Daniel and John are clear on that score. Rambo … the exit door to Hell is the First Resurrection.

There is precedent for “taking up” before judgement. Lot and his family comes to mind as does Moses and his. There is also:

Hi Empirical, There are other stories of a “headzup” for getting physically away from impending disaster. Joseph took the Messiah to Egypt escaping Herod’s infanticide. Lot and family almost had to be dragged out of S&G. You may be thinking of Enoch and Elijah. But the real Hall of Fame of Faith consists of those who endured until death. (Hebrews 12)
Scripture is clear that those who are (still) alive at His return will be gathered to Him without experiencing physical death. They will escape penultimate wrath. No argument there.
Lk 21:36 within it’s context also denotes a headzup. The admonishment prior to v36 is to be on guard to avoid getting sucked into the world’s system and by love of ease and comfort fall into it’s trap “. . . For it [that day] will fall on all those who dwell on the face of all the earth.”
Because we have this headzup, we can see the big picture and make adjustments (escape, endure) accordingly.

A lot of people wont like all that I have to say, but if anyone takes some time to do some research it’ll be easy to discern the truth.
There will be NO rapture. This is a doctrine the corrupted churches have simply gone along with to push the “we don;t have to do anything but believe” agenda. There are, as other posters noted, numerous references in the NT confirming that no one is going to be magically saved from the darkness that is coming upon this earth- protected certainly, but not taken out of trouble completely. Going through the trouble is how you weed out the weak from the strong.
Stepping away from the rapture into a larger picture, there are some other things that the “church of God” has gone along with that are going to screw people over in the end.
1. “St. Paul” was NOT an apostle, and in fact he is the second greatest false prophet next to Mohammed. The Law is not done away with- it had been altered by perverted priests througout history and Yeshua/Jesus was well aware of this. Many of the laws Christians do not follow are still in effect and the Jewish feasts should be oserved, not the trashy pagan-christianized religions.
Yeshus was NOT born in December, he was born in September on the Feast of Tabernacles. This was partly in fulfilment of the feast just as he had fulfilled the first 4 Jewish feasts. Just as he had fulfilled the Spring feasts in a human form, so too will he complete the final feasts in a completely human form, no flying out of the sky. The Jews of his day expected Elijah to come flying from the sky just as Christians think Jesus will- oops they were wrong and so will everyone else be today.
I have many other things I can say, but Im gonna sum it up because there is far too much to be typed here.

You are right, I am not a believer in Jesus Christ. Yeshua the messiah. Jesus is the beast warned of in revelation that all the world would follow. he derives all his power from the “serpent”- also known as Rome. The christian religion that spawned from Catholics is a disgusting pagan perversion of the truth. All of the Christian symbols are integrated pagan symbolism. You can take the pagan out of it roots, but itll pagan up anything it comes across. Thats what the romans did to it, and people in America continue to do. You are right on truthseeker. The bible is clear about there only being two resurrections, one for the righteous and one for the unrighteous and then comes judgement. Blessed are those that take part in the first resurrection because the second death will have no power over them. The rapture and the first resurrection are the “same event”.
I wish people would quit spreading this false doctrine of a pre-trib all fly away, never any pain or suffering for the believer. Tell that to those who have already died for their faith, where was their rescue from death? It flies in the face of recorded history of every generation of dedicated believers in the past who suffered tremendous suffering and persecution to prove their faith was real and not just fair weather christianity.
This article is garbage. There is no greater deception today in the church than this foolishness of a pre-tribulation rapture, which is a doctrine of demons. A pre-trib rapture contradicts so many Scriptures. Truthseeker pointed out some, there are many others. If you read the Bible for yourself, you will find that this article is a false teaching.
Concerning the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 to not let any man deceive you in any way, for that day (the rapture) will not come until there comes a falling away FIRST and the Antichrist is revealed. So Paul said that the Antichrist will come first and then the Day of Jesus Christ, or rapture, comes after that. Those who teach about a pre-tribulation rapture teach that the rapture comes first and then the Antichrist comes—which is the exact opposite of the order of events that Paul teaches! Whom shall we believe then, the Apostle Paul or these so-called teachers of the Word?
At the heart of Satan’s deception of a pre-tribulation rapture is the misconception that the “restrainer” referred to in 2nd Thessalonians, who is holding things back, is the Holy Spirit. This restrainer that Paul talks about is not the Holy Spirit, it is the unholy spirit, or Satan. Look at the language Paul uses. The one holding back the secret power of lawlessness will continue to do so until “he is taken out of the way”. It is not a voluntary thing—he is forcibly removed. The Antichrist is Satan’s “trump card”, his last resort. If you are in a war and you are wise and cunning, then you do not use your last resort before it is time to do so. The world today is full of corruption and evil. It would be foolish of Satan and not necessary for him to use his best weapon or last resort in a world where he is pretty much having his way. But that will change when Christians unite and become the true Church. As the Church realizes its part in the end times and comes together in love and grows and matures and starts walking in the true power of Christianity, doing the things Jesus did and even greater things, reaping the great end time harvest in the greatest revival the world has ever known, and as they pull down strongholds of the enemy all over the place, then the overcoming Church, as personified by the man child of Revelation 12:5, will win the victory over the Devil by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony and Satan will be cast down from heaven—he will be taken out of the way. Paul knew there was coming a time when the Church would be victorious over Satan as described in Revelation 12:7-12. This onslaught against the powers and principalities of darkness will back Satan into a corner, forcing him to play his trump card, or use his best weapon, his last resort. It is at the very beginning of Revelation 13 that the beast arises. So it is Satan who is the restrainer who must be taken out of the way in heaven and then the Antichrist will be revealed.
How can the Word give such great detail about what will happen in the end times—the glorious destiny of the Church—and yet the so-called church is so ignorant of it? Why are the sheep not being prepared for what is about to happen? Is it because the teachers and leaders in the church are misleading the sheep, telling them that they will soon be raptured out of here and they won’t be here for the tribulation period and so they don’t really concern themselves with eschatology? Daniel spoke about the time period we are about to enter and said the Antichrist will wage ware against the saints and overcome them (Daniel 7:21) until the Ancient of Days pronounces judgment in favor of the saints and then the sovereignty, power and greatness of the kingdoms under heaven will be handed over to the saints and they shall retain it forever and ever and ever! Hallelujah! Oh, but the present day church doesn’t believe that these saints that Daniel speaks of are the Church! John also spoke of this time, that the Antichrist will overcome the saints (Revelation 13:7), but the saints end up ruling and reigning with Jesus for all time to come! Hallelujah! Oh but no, the present day church doesn’t believe that the saints in the Book of Revelation are the Church! Let it happen then as you believe! People are going to be “left behind” alright—those of you who cling to this false hope of a pre-tribulation rapture will be left behind in the dust—literally—while the true Church executes the plan of God and inherits the kingdom of God!

By saying there is a Rapture you are denying the very Word of Christ Himself. Did Jesus not say the Tares will be gathered 1st before the Wheat? Yes He did. You have absolutely NO understanding of Satan’s plan do you? When you stop listening to other people and read the Word of God yourself you will gain understanding. The proper term is called “THE ADOPTION” by the apostle Paul. In Romans 8 Paul says,
“23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.”
The adoption is when we get our bodies redeemed. This event is commonly know as “THE RAPTURE” by most Christians though the word “RAPTURE” is not found in the bible.
It has nothing to do with Israel’s resurrection at the second coming.
The adoption takes place at the end of the dispensation of grace given to the Gentiles. The dispensation of grace separates the 69th and 70th weeks of Daniel’s prophecy.
The adoption applies to the one new man which the Lord made in himself to join the uncircumcision with the circumcision into the same body.
The one new man was given at the end of the 69th week of Daniel’s prophecy and he will be taken away before the 70th week can resume.
The adoption is not found in Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. These books are referring to the second coming of Christ. You will find the adoption in the epistles of the apostle Paul. Paul was given the information of the adoption that applies to the one new man.
The adoption does not apply to every believer that ever existed. It only applies to the one new man during the dispensation of the grace of God given to the Gentiles.

It is not necessary for you to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ unless of course you have the desire to have eternal life.
I you do not desire to have eternal life then just carry on as you are and you will get what you desire.
But if you ever change your mind and desire to have eternal life, then you have to believe that Jesus died and paid for your sins, was buried and rose again from the dead and trust him as your Saviour.
Once again, believing on the Lord Jesus Christ is not a requirement, it’s just an option God gives us to be saved, so you are good to go.

Geez People, the Bible is NOT the “divine word of God”, it contradicts itself in too many ways to mention or list, IF it were originally the word of God, it isn’t any more. But you did say you thought it was necessary. Folks simply disagree that it’s necessary and try to explain why. Faith on the earth?” The article is there. He’s talking about The Faith as delivered to the Saints. (Jude 3) Will the Saints still be believing His original message or something else? Who are you to decide who is a true born again believer and who isn’t? Does that not seem a bit prideful and does not the Bible warn of that? Do you realize that you are saying that the words of Jesus and the words of Paul are false and those who have argued against you are unbelievers even though they have given Biblical evidence to which you can’t even argue? From reading the article and the comments I deduce that those who oppose you know the Word and have their faith in the Word and you do not know the Word and have rather put your faith in “Bible Scholars”. Quote the Bible and prove them wrong, prove that the rapture doctrine is more than 200 years old. Stop crawfishing and defend your stance with SOLID Biblical evidence.
Also, recognize that God reveals Himself to His people in any way He pleases. It is obvious that He has revealed to countless believers that the rapture is horse manure and His people should be preparing for the tribulation which is upon us in order that we “don’t suffer our houses to be broken up”. The Love of God is also protecting the flock from wolves in sheep’s clothing.

That’s what I’m screamin… and like I mentioned below, the whole thing could be a grand evil scheme, to deceive many into believing/ expecting that they will be removed from having to face the hard times and horrific events that will fall upon the unrepented, while they frolic in love, joy, and grace with god almighty. It’s an easy sell and who wouldn’t rather want to wish for that to happen, but come on… Ever since I was a kid w/ a bad report card, I wanted to believe in a supernatural force to take me away from having to face my parents and the consequences of my actions… And it never happened. Christianity has the richest organisations in the world, the richest people in the world and none of them follow him at all. The complete opposite in fact seeing as he was anti organised religion. All theists are forced to cherry pick because their books have profound contradictions, they usually pick the bits that fit with what ever they want to believe. Thus we have over 200’000 different sub cults of Christianity alone. They couldn’t agree on the colour of dog dirt let alone the meaning of scripture.
Judaism did not exist until c 1’000 BCE, Christianity didn’t exist until the 4th century CE and Islam 7th century. So believers true or otherwise haven’t been around that long while modern human have been around for at least 100’000 years, probably a lot longer.

Anyone who would say there was no Jesus has not done their homework! Though there are several proofs of him, I will only mention one. First his description: He was a tall white man with light blond collar length, not shoulder length hair parted in the middle. His beard was a chestnut color and also parted in the middle and combed back to his ears. He had light blue eyes and a very light complexion. Looking at his face you would notice his right cheek was kind of sagging looking, the other one was normal. His left nostril was slightly larger than the right one. He had a scar in his left moustache that went from the center up about a half inch at a 45% angle. Under his bottom lip there was dark bar shaped mark going from left to right…… This is actually what Jesus looked like as described from someone who knew him extremely well, Pontius Pilate. He wrote the description in a letter (scroll) that he sent to the then Caesar of Rome. This scroll exists today in a museum right here in the US! I always find it strange when I see pictures of Jesus in Churches and other places, and none of them resemble his true appearance. You would think an artist would seek out his true appearance like I did before painting or replicating pictures of him. There are also 3 other people that lived then and they describe the same thing. There are 2 pictures, one drawn on hide, one on metal. Both match Pilates description of Jesus.

The rapture will not be some secret, poof-out-nowhere event. Not only will the rapture/Second Coming be evident to one and all when it happens, but the Church will know when it is RIGHT AT THE DOOR. When Jesus described the events in Matthew 24, the birth pains (wars, rumors of wars, famine, pestilence, earthquakes), the Church being persecuted by all nations, the false prophets and lawlessness, the gospel being preached as a testimony to all nations, the abomination that causes desolation, the first and second woes (that is, the sun being darkened, the moon not giving its light, the stars falling from the sky, the heavenly powers being shaken), Jesus said in Matthew 24:33 that when you see ALL these events, it (the SECOND COMING/rapture) will be near, RIGHT AT THE DOOR. Those of you who say that the rapture is imminent, how can it be imminent if we have not seen ALL the events Jesus described? Tell me those of you who believe in a secret, mysterious, poof-out-of-nowhere rapture, is Christ’s coming “right at the door” right now? You cannot say yes to that can you? But still, because of your stubborn pride, in spite of what the Scriptures say, some of you will still say it is “right at the door” right now and nothing else has to happen for it to occur, it can happen at any moment! And you will quote Jesus saying that no man knows the day nor the hour! You use that to justify your “sliding scale” or “fuzzy” or “blurry” view that it may happen tomorrow, next week, next month, next year, next decade, next century or whenever. So, if it may happen at any time from now until whenever, how does that constitute “right at the door”? It doesn’t. Yet, Jesus said we will know when it is right at the door!
So then, just what does the time period RIGHT AT THE DOOR mean? It means that there will come a point in time when the Second Coming will be truly imminent. Yes, we will not know the day nor the hour, but will we not know the month and the week? Indeed! Yes, the time will come when the SECOND COMING will be right at the door—not years or months or even weeks away, but DAYS away! It will be imminent right after the second woe. It will be right at the door after the second woe (Revelation 11:14) when the third woe, or Second Coming, comes quickly thereafter!

There is no 2nd AND 3rd coming of Christ. Only a 2nd coming at the end…. Have you read this thread? Whats your opinion on this “Rapture” business? I only have an NIV Bible so i reference everything online within multiple Bibles and i’ll head straight for Strong’s Concordance if there is any doubt. Notice there’s no scholars in that list.
At times i need help finding the passages in the Bible that speak to my questions; my favourite search engine helps but occasionally i will ask for assistance from other contributors. Here’s a heads up for you, Anonymous: i listen to no one who tries to sell me an opinion. Fortunately there are several here who offer, only, The Inspired Word and legitimate resources for translating the original language of Scripture.
A little background about this stoush is in order: Anonymous, apart from the accusation (lie) herein has claimed to be Christian and was seen to revel in the notion that he is saved and not me; i’ll add to this his use of the title God in vain. He has decided to troll me around and about B4IN; i think it’s kind of cool and a test for my prideful ways.

I disagree with the time of rapture however, I think some of us will be left, so suit up in the armor of God, boots to the ground and get yourselves right with God cause I think while we have been involved in a covert war, it’s about to go overt.

Things are changing so drastically here in America, it’s not even the same country.
I think we can all say the same that things def are changing drastically in America and the world and not for the good.
Millions of Christians have an impending sense of destiny as they compare current events and Bible prophecy, and many of them are hopeful of being raptured so they don’t have to face serious events.
However, a growing number of scholars are no longer convinced of the rapture. “Rapture” is not clearly taught in the Bible – and because of this, it has been easy to jump to a mistaken conclusion.
We find that several points in Scripture do not fit rapture teaching:
1) For example, Christ says that “when He comes and knocks,” we should “open to Him immediately.” Luke 12:36. If you have been taught to believe in a rapture, it may be easy to think that’s what Christ is referring to here. But then why, in the same passage, would Christ say, “Have your loins girded, have your lights burning”? If He were going to rapture us; it wouldn’t matter. We don’t need to sleep with our clothes or lights on. It’s about something else.
2) When Christ said, “One shall be taken, and the other left” (Matthew 24:39-40), He wasn’t talking about a rapture. Luke gives more details. The disciples asked, “Where, Lord? And He said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, there will the eagles be gathered.” (Luke 17:37).
With this additional information, it suggests that those who are taken are not raptured to heaven; they become the dinner for vultures. “One shall be taken and the other left” should not be understood as a rapture.
3) A pre-tribulation rapture is contrary to God’s way of dealing throughout history. History supports that “we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom.” Acts 14:22. Our belief that it won’t happen to us is based on a few texts that can be explained to mean something else. Everyone in history lived through trouble and died, except for Enoch and Elijah (discussed below).
4) Christ said, “As it was in the days of Noah” (Luke 17:26). Noah wasn’t raptured; he came through the storm. Enoch was raptured before Noah was even born, so his being taken to heaven had nothing to do with avoiding the Flood or tribulation.
5) Elijah was raptured, but Christ never said the end would be like Elijah for us. Elijah was raptured only after he confronted false worship of Baal. Our confrontation will be with Antichrist when the United Nations mandates everyone to be marked or implanted for identity purposes, for this will be contrary to the Bible, Revelation 13:16, 17; 14:9, 10.
6) Christ did say it would be “As it was in the days of Lot,” Luke 17:28. Lot wasn’t raptured. He was told to flee, and Christ told us to flee because there would be great tribulation, Matthew 24:15-21; Mark 13:14-20.
7) Everyone else in history has faced trouble and death. “Now all these things happened unto them for examples and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come,” 1Corinthians 10:11.
8) When asked about the end of the world, Christ said to understand the book of Daniel. The book of Daniel shows no rapture. Daniel and his friends were tested by a series of life and death situations.
“Daniel” means “God is my Judge” – and it may well be that we will be “judged” when we face death and do right. Otherwise we may turn out to be only “fair-weather” Christians.
9) The Bible teaches that “the Son of God” was in the fiery furnace with the three Hebrews, Daniel 3:25. “Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you,” 1 Peter 4:12. God will be with us in the trials.
10) “Broad is the way, that leads to destruction.” Matthew 7:13. Millions of fiction rapture books sold these days (such as those in the “Left Behind” series) suggests that there is a broad following of people who believe in an “easy get-away” rapture, which does not fit well with the Bible’s teaching that “we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God,” Acts 14:22.
11) “Ye shall know them by their fruits.” Matthew 7:16. Rapture teaching (i.e., thinking that “we won’t be around”) is the fruit of a lack of Bible study of the book of Revelation. Interestingly, Revelation is the only book in which Christ promises a blessing for “reading…and keeping those things that are written therein.” Revelation 1:3. We would understand the book of Revelation better if we studied it. Revelation uses symbols and imagery that we can decode from other parts of Scripture if we study and become familiar with the Bible.
12) We would feel like 2nd class citizens in heaven if we were raptured from trouble and lukewarm materialism (Revelation 3:17) and didn’t have the opportunity to face trouble manfully as did Daniel, Peter or Paul.
13) Rather than rapturing “lukewarm…miserable” Christians focused on materialism (Rev 3:17), we might expect God to allow events that relieve us of our things so we will see they are meaningless in comparison to what He is offering us. “Who may abide the day of his coming… for he is like a refiner’s fire,” Malachi 3:1, 2.
If we are faithful through this refining process (the trumpet plagues of Revelation 8 and 9; the mark of the New World Order, Revelation 13:16,17 and the 7 vials that fall on those who receive that mark, Revelation 14:9,10 and Rev 16), we will be ready to meet Christ when He comes visibly. “Every eye shall see Him, Revelation 1:7; 19:11.

A religion where the prince is turned to a devil. Then the jew/hebrew that was born of Rome takes the place of the god. Not just the the princes seat but the god’s. I disagree. The WORD was written by God in the beginning was the WORD (JESUS CHRIST: Messenger-Messiah) and written to be interpreted according to one’s own beliefs and interpretation.
The greatest Gifts God gave us are freedom of will, and choice.
The only verse in the Bible that doesn’t leave much for interpretation is: “Jesus wept.”
The verses you are referring to, as in the Rapture were given to us to bring us hope and comfort, for that is what happens when we go through Death’s door.
And is also a prophecy for our future, that we will be transformed in the twinkling of an eye and will no longer have to go through that door.
And we will be transformed, and will have new bodies that are immortal, but far as the Rapture, I do not believe in it.

I would just like to make a couple of more comments for you to consider:
1)- Have any of you contemplated the marriage of politics to religion in Israel at the time of messiah? A marriage that continues even until this day? There had to be a very broad cooperation between the two to be able to convince the general population that they didn’t see what they saw and didn’t hear what they heard about the messiah that had been living amongst them, and that influence had to continue for a very long time to convince them so completely that even today, they are still looking for the messiah to come for the first time…Think about it…the apostles couldn’t sit in the synagogues anymore for they knew the truth and they knew the rabbis were still teaching the things they taught before the messiah came…However, this deception was also necessary to the second coming for if the Jews had accepted the messiah at the time of his visitation, there would never be a second coming-or a need for the book of revelation-or your or my existence for that matter, for the end would have been then…no, the deception and cover up started when the body of the messiah was missing from the tomb and the rabbis came running to Pilate; and that continues to this day…and will continue until the 2nd coming
2)- The letter J, the first letter in the name of Jesus, wasn’t even invented until the 16th century…look it up…so the question is, what is Jesus’ real name?
3)- I am sure you would agree with the statement “God knows everything”…The question then becomes, what is YOUR conception of everything? Is everything for you all things, or a little less than all things, or a lot less than all things?…The bible plainly states that all of your days were numbered before the foundation of the world…that every hair on your head is accounted for…therefore, if God already numbered your days before He created the world,He already knew every thought you would ever have from the second you were conceived to the last breath you would draw…likewise He knew every word that would be spoken from your mouth and every intention you would ever have in your heart and He knows this for every human being on the planet …to disagree with this statement would be to say that God doesn’t know everything…therefore, no one is going to show up on God’s doorstep unannounced where He would say “You surprised me- I didn’t know you were coming”…which means there is no ACCIDENTAL DEATH (i.e. car accidents, accidental drownings, etc.)…as a matter of fact, there is NO DEATH (murder, etc.) that occurs prematurely because the death of a person is the end of their pre determined number of days before the foundation of the world…so the question becomes, is a murderer, whose murderous action was known by God before the foundation of the world, really a murderer because he was the agent God used to end the pre determined number of days of another human being ( Moses, King David, Hitler, and Stalin are several examples that come to mind, although there are many others)? We all have choices to make while we are living in our pre determined set of days; God knows every choice we will make and He knows already our final destination, as a matter of fact He knew our final destination before the foundation of the world, just as the Lamb was slain before the foundation of the world…
4)- I just have to make a comment about abortion- How many of you know what the Latin word fetus means?..In english, the word FETUS means UNBORN CHILD…so all the lawyers, judges, doctors, mothers and others who condone abortion and who call that fetus a meaningless blob of tissue…by their own term for that tissue they have admitted it is an unborn child…check out the facts for breast cancer with your doctor girls…the FACT is that by having an abortion and not bringing the pregnancy to full term, you have stunted the growth and maturity of the breast and the glands and have thus exponentially increased your risk of breast cancer…don’t believe me, i strongly encourage you to check it out with your doctor…

In Heaven there are no Religions! There are also no Churches. These things were all made up by man after he was born on Earth, to suite him and to enable control over others in various ways. A great example of this is the so called Roman Catholic Church. This is a Church made completely out of thin air by Constantine who ruled Rome around 400 years after Christs death. He also created the false book Bible which everyone swears is the word of God. It does not however tell the real truth, and has been edited and changed many hundreds of times by the time it was complete. This is so people will believe a certain way and think certain things in order to follow the religion they have created. Now this is all in the history books and can be proven. The Roman’s worshiped Athena. She became Mother Mary in their faith. Rome never burned, that’s just nonsense, since it’s still there with the same thousands of year old buildings and people still living there. The creation of the Bible was for political reasons of Constantine in which he used around 20% of the religious material of the time, most picked at random including Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John which were not even the most popular of the books and which he never read anyway. Every profit then had a book but he only picked those 4. Most of the information in the Bible was changed from it’s original source at least somewhat when it was created by this crook. All the information in the Bible like the Old Testament which was altered by them also, can be found in older books like the Kolbrin Bible that are hundreds of years older than the fake Roman Catholic Bible and you can see they have changed it from the original by comparing them side by side. Jesus doesn’t want us praying to him through other self appointed people in some wooden confessional booth, he wants us to pray directly to him through the lord Jesus Christ! People today need to find out the real truth about the book called Bible. They don’t seem to know how it came to be, or where they can find the same information Constantine did when he made it! Some just blindly follow it and say “If it’s not in the Bible it can’t be so”. This just proves they haven’t read the history books as to how, why and when the Bible was made!
