WikiLeaks became internationally well known in 2010 when, with its partners in the news media, it began to publish U.S. military and diplomatic documents. Bradley Manning has since been arrested on suspicion of supplying the cables to WikiLeaks. U.S. Air Force documents reportedly state that military personnel who make contact with WikiLeaks or “WikiLeaks supporters” are at risk of being charged with “communicating with the enemy,” and the United States Department of Justice reportedly has considered prosecuting Assange for several offenses. During the trial of Manning prosecutors presented evidence that they claim reveals that Manning and Assange collaborated to steal and publish U.S. military and diplomatic documents. Since December 2010, Assange has been subject to a European Arrest Warrant in response to a Swedish police request for questioning in relation to a sexual assault investigation. In June 2012, following final dismissal by the Supreme Court of the UK of his appeal against enforcement of the European Arrest Warrant, Assange has failed to surrender to his bail, and has been treated by the UK authorities as having absconded. Since 19 June 2012, he has been inside the Ecuadorian embassy in London, where he has since been granted diplomatic asylum.

There is another current article that claims that Assange is about to take a job with some part of the gov, a “gov agency, or an NGO, if the rumors are true about his being connected to the CIA and his role being an agent of controlled opposition, it fits with the general standard operational procedures, don’t it? How long before he becomes a defense contractor CEO, a pResidential Czar or Cabinet Member, Director of an NGO, or Supreme Court Justice? Not too long I’d guess…
i’m not an expert on wikileaks, but haven’t they given us quite a few uncover stories that were credible? enough to rile up the witch feinstein who is heading up the charges. assange is a news reporter. how is that illegal? i feel sorry for assange, who has been stuck in these embassies for a long time now. the sexual charges in sweden were with women not men. there wasn’t much evidence. kinda trumped up charges. what’s with bradley manning? are they going to hold him forever? i never hear anything about that poor guy. assange is on the mark about the NDAA law. the big boys have made themselves judge, jury, and executioner.
