Al-Qaeda published magazine gives the American Tyrant more reasons for control

“For as long as Winston can recall, Oceania has been in a constant state of war – with whom it was at war is of neither importance nor consequence.” (Orwell, 1948) supplies. Behavior can be modified and those in control will be gods to the mere mortal. After all, without food or water, a peasant’s life will be over quickly.

But as humans have moved every slowly from hunter-gatherer to small villages, and then to towns, and castles and cities into forming city-states, which led to the forming of nations – control also must be done slowly. It’s the old frog-in-boiling-water scenario. The masses will erupt and rebel at the first whiff of tyranny.

The War on Terror, which in reality is the war on our Freedoms, began well before September 11^th, 2001. But for the purposes of the short memories that most American’s have, we’ll just begin there.
