(Before It's News)

North Korea has threatened to launch a nuclear missile strike on the United States starting Monday 11th March.

Just before the United Nations imposed tough new sanctions on North Korea for it’s atomic test last month, North Korea made the threat.

As far as North Korea are concerned when America steps up military drills with South Korea from March 11 it’s a signal the United States are ready to strike.

A spokesman for the North’s foreign ministry said: “Since the US is about to ignite a nuclear war, we will be exercising our right to preemptive nuclear attack against the headquarters of the aggressor in order to protect our supreme interest.”

North Korea has regularly provoked the US and its “puppet”, South Korea, but this was the most serious threat in years.

The warning came hours before the United Nations imposed tough new sanctions to punish it for an atomic test last month.

Rogue state North Korea today threatened to launch a nuclear missile strike on the US as soon as Monday.

The warning came hours before the United Nations imposed tough new sanctions to punish it for an atomic test last month.

North Korea said it was entitled to attack from March 11 when America steps up military drills with South Korea – a move it claimed signalled the US was ready to strike.

The sides have been enemies since the 1950-53 Korean War and the North also threatened yesterday to nullify the truce that ended the conflict.

Leader Kim Jong-un stepped up his nuclear programme with a third test on February 12 and the dictatorship claimed to have built a missile capable of hitting the US. Experts still doubt it could attack the mainland.

But Susan Rice, US ambassador to the UN, said: “North Korea will achieve nothing by continued threats and provocations.

“These will only further isolate the country and its people and undermine efforts to promote peace in north east Asia.”

Tens of thousands of North Koreans held a rally in capital Pyongyang today against the drills and UN sanctions.

The financial restrictions, backed by the North’s ally, China, aim to prevent it funding nuclear weapons.

South Korea’s defence ministry said the enemy was conducting its own military drills and threatened to retaliate and target its leadership if attacked.

Spokesman Kim Min-seok said: “We are watching the North’s activities and stepping up readiness under the assumption they can lead to provocation any time.”

He declined to confirm reports the North imposed no-fly zones off its coasts in a possible move to fire missiles.

A leading North Korean general said Pyongyang was scrapping the 1950s armistice, although the North and South are still technically at war as there was no peace treaty.

In 2010 the North bombed a South Korean island, killing two civilians. It was also accused of sinking a South Korean ship this year, killing 46 sailors.

There are thought to be almost 20,000 nuclear warheads around the world.

About 5,000 of those are “strategic” weapons, ready to fire at key targets.

Here’s who has the strategic warheads. The total in brackets includes stockpiles:

USA, 2,430 (10,000); Russia, 1,950 (8,500); UK, 225 (225); France, 290 (300); China, 0 (240); India 100 (100); Pakistan 110 (110); Israel, around 0 (80); North Korea 0 (less than 10).

Now we wait to see what happens on Monday, who has the bigger balls. Another waiting game, will they wont they………

The US has space nukes, the 2000 miles space fence (look it up) and a hundred other kill gears that you aren’t allowed to know about.
korea will not be allowed to do anything the US controllers do not want it to do.
This article is for what purpose, to pretend korea is a threat, that the poor lil’ u s of a couldn’t defend it’s duped citizens if it decided to? Right.
Thanks for letting us know it will happen Monday, I guess.

      • ThenAgain

By the way what are you doing to power up and power up others? Get out your front door, share websites with neighbors, strangers. It’s not hard. Many choose ignorance, but the majority just don’t know where to look for info. Sitting around feeling bad accomplishes nothing.
Get out this weekend and give out information, you’ll see it’s easy. For every dummy that plays ignorant there’s two who will thank you for giving them real info. Include a prepper site, this site, activistpost etc. Try it you’ll see just doing something simple like that is empowering and empowers us all.
Get out tomorrow for a few hours and try it, just copy business card size memos with info/sites and hand em’ out, it’s quick and easy, weekend is the perfect time, just do it !

Scenario: North Korea attacks US. Twenty minutes later, the entire country of North Korea disappears from the face of the earth.

  • Bobbyray

    North Korea 0 Threat.
    Why?

Um they have nothing that is a threat to the USA mainland…Duh. Talk and threats, in reality don’t mean much if you can’t back it up. Yes they are a full military controlled country and their people are starving to the point of eating their own children (see below). Sanctions work…! It is sad that the people bear the end result and not the N. Korean government.

The people of Earth do not want a nuclear war. Well, THAT WE KNOW OF. That is serious business and not very rewarding to those that could unless they have a plan to survive while everyone else dies. Hummm, that is a concern, isn’t it.

I have read that alien ufos have unarmed ALL Nukes and we are safe now…..um don’t believe everything you read. Interesting though. I hope that is true. See ya tuesday.

HUNGRY parents in North Korea have been caught eating their CHILDREN to avoid starvation, according to reports

this is some scary stuff, however I am pretty sure no one on this website would know the TRUE numbers, how could we? remove the regime not just the leaders take out every facet of the government in DPNK, conditions in that country are awful the link that bobbyray put up is just one of the horrible conditions the people face on a daily basis, we went into other countries for less.
I agree with both the comments up thus far, have a great week peeps!

  • GratefulGordie

At least it gets me out of work on Monday. I hate Mondays.

  • Quantum Kev

Thing is, IF the story about people eating their own children is true, that signals some serious desperation. And desperate people sometimes take desperate measures…. I think all these people saying “there’s nothing to worry about” may be trying to comfort themselves a bit. I, for one, am concerned. And the fact that they are so isolated, so fanatical and so vitriolic towards us does not bode well.

    • Mellissa

I agree it is something to worry about. The new leader is not an isolated man never leaving Korea ever, he was educated in London. You would think he would be different then his father but most of what he is doing to to emulate his father. Below is a little snippet from a new article about it,

      from http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2013/mar/11/north-korea-declares-end-armistice
( just most recent done – 20 mins ago )
North Korean state media says Pyongyang has carried out a threat to cancel the 60-year-old armistice that ended the Korean war, as it and South Korea stage duelling war games amid increasingly threatening rhetoric.

Enraged over the South’s joint military drills with the US and recent UN sanctions, Pyongyang has piled threat on top of threat, including vows to launch a nuclear strike on the US. Seoul has responded with tough talk of its own and has placed its troops on high alert.

The North Korean government made no formal announcement about its repeated threats to scrap the armistice, but the country’s main newspaper, Rodong Sinmun, reported that the armistice was nullified on Monday as Pyongyang had announced it would be.

The North also followed through on another promise – shutting down a Red Cross hotline that the North and South used for general communication and to discuss aid shipments and separated families’ reunions.

The 11-day military drills that started on Monday involve 10,000 South Korean and about 3,000 American troops. Those coincide with two months of separate US-South Korean field exercises that began on 1 March.

Also continuing are large-scale North Korean drills that Seoul says involve the army, navy and air force. The South Korean defence ministry said there had been no suspicious military activities.

The North has threatened to nullify the armistice several times and in 1996 the country sent hundreds of armed troops into a border village. The troops later withdrew.

Despite the heightened tension, there were signs of business as usual on Monday.

If you go read the article then it goes on to say Korea did this same thing several times before so it is a possible fake out, who knows. Yet they are not the only country mobilizing for war.

    • Mirabolin

You know it’s bad when people are thinking about nukes in the same self-comforting way as they think about ‘the aliens’ that will shoot all the meteorites the size of Mount Everest out of the sky.

North Korea right now has been unable to build a nuclear weapon that will fit inside a missile. And if so we have Aegis Ballistic Defense, Ground Based Interceptors, PATRIOT Advanced Capability Missiles and high altitude terminal defense. Their “attack” would be diverted and suicide. Anyway, if something were to happen anytime this month it would be a false flag inside job just like always.

    • Proserpina

Right… just like the ones that stopped the attack on the pentagon on 9/11. Good luck with that.

Hmmm – The most famous nuclear Monday so far was 6th August 1945 at Nagasaki.
The bomb was dropped to kick-start the Psy-Op known as the “Cold War”…

Toto pulls back a curtain and finds the fear-porn Wizards pushing buttons and pulling levers to produce pyrotechnics… Rothschild’s N.Korea threatens Rothschild’s S.Korea with Rothschild’s Atomic bomb… paid for by Rothschild’s Americans, probably built at Rothschild’s secret nuclear programme at Dimona…

“This is related to Abraham Maslow’s “hierarchy of needs”. When basic primal survival fears are activated in the “group mind” of the masses, this fear induces the motivation for a population to willingly give up their rights and liberty even for merely the promise of more protection from the boogeymen. This principal is the basis for successful PSYOPS”!!

In 1946 Bertrand Russell (Comm 300), said that it was necessary to use the fear of nuclear weapons to force all nations to give up their sovereignty and submit to the dictatorship of the United Nations…

1987 5th July; the Miami Herald published reports on FEMA’s new goals. The goal was to suspend the Constitution in the event of a national crisis, such as nuclear war, violent and widespread internal dissent, or national opposition to a U.S. military invasion abroad….

Assume the plan is still ongoing…

    • Is-Be

good comment, Wargasm. Fear…….they always play the fear card. It is after all March.

I think it is time for the little boy,Kim Jong-un,to learn about the real world.Time for a scolding!!His threats are so childish, and certainly do not reflect a positive leader for his starving nation.

    • Kiwi Kimmy

      Well said :)

  • kingkurtis

Yawn. We (the USA) misplaces more nukes than it would take to vaporize these potato heads. These N. Korean bozos couldn’t lob a nuke in to S. Korea with a catapult, much less deliver a nuke to mainland USA.

  • LifeIs

Unfortunately, it would only take one missile and one warhead to be catastrophic. And, North Korea probably has those things.

They have tested bombs, and they have tested missiles, successfully.

And YES they will use whatever weapons they have, in the event of war, because they know that the US will destroy their country. The US killed 20-30% of their civilian population in the Korean War, by bombing their cities and towns. And, we tried to kill more, with biological warfare.

Hurricane Sandy was a category 1 storm. Katrina at landfall was a category 3. We don’t do so well, in civil defense.

Our entire response to Fukushima has been to raise the levels of radiation considered “safe,” and to otherwise cover up the problem. Reactor 3, fueled by a uranium/plutonium mix, exploded, and 90 tons or more of fuel was blasted into the sky. The reactor 4 fuel rods – outside the reactor – caught fire and burned for a time.
Tens of millions of people around the world, at least, will die in years to come, from this catastrophe.

So, yes, there’s a real danger, and no, we can’t expect the US government to cope.

  • Oblivionssin

Im pretty sure the US will let itself get attacked

More crap to distract American’s from the real issues.

So run out and get your piece of ass, sit and watch your HDTV eating Cheetos and getting your dick’s orange. Run your credit cards up as you wont have to pay for them.

Or worry about what kim kardashian is going to wear to this event…

It is a pure shame that a story like this posts.

Of course people in N. Korea are eating their kids. In Iraq 500,000 kids died of that US Sanctions for a WAR that was a Lie and a total of 1.3 million died. 5.6 Million since 1995. Now Iran’s 850,000 Cancer patients are dying from US sanctions and this still after February 6th IAEA news that Iran is 100% compliant as Members of the IAEA.

However, Don’t speak of Israel’s aggression and sending Arms in Syria and the constant threat from the US Propaganda machine that Assad is using chemical weapons on Civilians. More Lies. Yet Israel continues to attack its neighbors, violates International law, UN Resolutions and ICC War Crimes as the bomb a 100% civilian people in Gaza.

Go back to sleep or smoke your dope. Browse Craigslist and see who you can snag for a quick screw.
Since Korea the US has caused the deaths of 17,000,000 people and they call OTHERS the terrorist’s. Fail

They’re bluffing. They don’t even have anything nuclear capable of being fired on a missile, I doubt they even have a missile capable of reaching the US, and unless they’re completely mad, they should know if they try any such thing the US could reduce all of NK to cinders and ashes in just minutes.

While I agree that this appears to be a situation of trouble waiting to happen,
I am always amazed that people do not realize that just by the title of
an article or discussion, they are giving their power away.
Why not use your power to say, “What can I say or do that would change
this situation?” How can I help mitigate anything negative from this
    happening?
When I saw this article just now, I requested that any negative thought
forms that are building up around it and the situation be removed now.
I also requested that any negative thought forms around that date
be now removed from the planet. I have done this for many dates
    this month of March.
Time to take a look and use the power of commands. Time to stop
keeping us locked in this allusion and giving power to something that
you do not want to happen.

The Bible tells us beware of the little country, weather or not the Koreans did infact strike the US….. all it has to do is detonate the warhead 20 miles above ground in our direction and the blast will bring forth biblical truths, distroy the sea life. radiate the air…. and you can see where this is going. when the us nuked Japan it wasnt to just drop the bomb on them, it was to show Russa the massave power the US had and that it would use it if provoked… and to radiate the ground to make Japan unable to be come invaded by Russa. Japan had allready surenderd prior to the nuking. research it yourself, most of the military officails did not want to do this because the us already defeated Japan. it was only a matter of a few days to conferm ther military was distroyed.

March.11,2012 – North Korean television channel, KRT, reports that the country’s soldiers are ‘full of soaring anger and animosity’ towards the US. The report comes after Washington urged North Korea to resist further provocative actions on Friday. The US has promised to protect South Korea and Japan against an attack from North Korea, which also threatened a pre-emptive attack on America last week.
