Rodman Says N. Korean Leader "Don't Want War"

After declaring North Korea’s dictator his BFF, Rodman decided to head to Rome to lobby for a black Pope. Not that anyone cares, but Rodman has decided that Ghanaian Cardinal Peter Turkson should become the first black pope.

As usual, Rodman was clueless, at one point forgetting which black papal candidate he was supporting, asking “From Africa, right?” Rodman wore a T-shirt supporting his Irish benefactors who sponsored the trip.

Rodman also said that he believes the next Pope will be black and that he hopes to meet him in Africa.

Rodman had planned to enter St. Peter’s Square in a custom-built “pope-mobile”, but the vehicle was delayed due to the weather.

During an appearance on the Sunday show This Week after his trip to North Korea, Rodman seemingly defended his new  friendship with North Korea’s leader to host George Stephanopoulos, although he stopped short of justifying North Korea’s human rights abuses.

“I don’t condone that. I hate the fact that he’s doing that [human rights abuses]. I didn’t talk about that. I saw people respected him, his family. He’s only 28. He’s not his dad. He’s not his grandpa. He is 28 years old. He’s very humble. He’s a very humble man. He don’t want war, that’s one thing he don’t want. He loves power. He loves control, because of his father, you know, stuff like that. But he’s just…he’s a great guy. He’s just a great guy. You sit down and talk to him,” Rodman told Stephanopoulos.
