The Matrix

The most memorable moment in the film The Matrix occurs just after Morpheus invites Neo to choose between a red pill and a blue pill.  Neo takes the red pill and awakes to reality and realizes everything he has ever known or was raised to believe was just an illusion.  He spent his entire life being manipulated by a system called the “Matrix” and now he has to re-learn how to live his life according to the “truth.”  He wasn’t alone, the entire population was also deceived and there’s only a handful who actually know the truth. In our society today, we are also living in a “Matrix-style” world, deceived by politicians, a shadow government who rules over them, and a mainstream media that supports these two powers.  We all need to take the “red pill” and re-learn how to live our lives according to what is right.
