I spent 2 weeks in Indonesia just before the Bali bombings. I stayed, alone as a 15 year old with a Muslim host-family that could barely speak English. They were some of the nicest, warmest, happiest, lovely & tolerant people I have ever met! Same with when I went to the Muslim school, I was treated with nothing but respect, admiration & kindness. After I got back & the bombings happened, I received nearly a dozen emails of sympathy & apology from the Muslim students who were mortified by the tragedy. They certainly did not agree with it! All this racist crap is getting OLD. There are very important issues going on in the world, but this surely ain’t one of them. We need to foster Understanding. Yes, there are Muslims who do not ‘assimilate’ but as I say there are all sorts of people belonging to the Muslims of the world. Not just angry crazy flag burning ones. Most Muslims are not like this at all. A lot of people say that reading the Koran is full of violence, well I felt the same way when I began reading the bible!
We have these same lunatics here in the United States as well. These people are misguided in their choices of protest. I saw recently in Egypt, the people there were killing stray dogs in the street. What is this world coming to. Here in America, all they can think about are gas prices and guns. Boy, do the Elite have us so confused that we can’t make right decisions anymore.
