Largely, the biggest reason Annette went public with her Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis was to help others. She states here she felt her condition was for a reason, to help others. There is no doubt that great inroads have been made into this M.S. illness due to Annette’s efforts and many thanks to Annette who must be smiling down upon us now. Some reports say she had also been concerned over the loss of the use of her legs and mobility that some people might wonder if she was drunk, etc., which is a real possibility considering how this happened to the late Rita Hayworth with her Alzheimers illness.
