Coordinated Sabotage Attacks Hits San Francisco

Reuters 9:55p ET: A Silicon Valley power substation was damaged after rifle shots were fired at it early on Tuesday morning, leading the California grid operator to call for electricity conservation. CBS San Francisco: 9:13p ET: Vandalism At San Jose PG&E Substation Called ‘Sabotage’ [...] In apparent acts of “sabotage” in the South Bay early Tuesday, someone cut fiber optic cables, knocking out some 911 service, and then fired a rifle at a PG&E substation, Santa Clara County’s sheriff said. The vandal’s objective appears to have been “shutting down the system,” Sheriff Laurie Smith said at a news conference at the substation Tuesday afternoon. “We don’t have a suspect,” she said. “It seems like the same perpetrator or perpetrators to me.” [...] The underground cables, protected by manhole covers, were cut shortly before 1:30 a.m. in two locations along Monterey Highway, Smith said. Ricin attacks, bombings, sabotage….     We need to connect some dots here people.  What was the motive behind these attacks?  What if any connection does it have with everything else going on?  Is this the start of something more feared and much bigger than we think?   Thats not to say however that if it is, it hasn’t been expected.  This country is as divise as i’ve ever seen it.  People are taking sides, be it on social issues or the second amendment and they are getting radical.   The government is helping this by being so oppresive, and i don’t mean gay mmarriage, that harms absolutely no one.

This attack seems alittle more militant than i think people will want to admit.  Terrorists, like the IRA in Northern Ireland have been known to plant bombs at plants like the one in Texas to try to get a bigger disaster out of it.  That scene by the way is still under investigation as a crime scene.  Then of course we have the riin attacks and Boston so with so much happening in the last 48 hours, you cant help but wonder, is this the start of some kind of rebellion?   -Mort
