Stephen Hawking, one of the world’s greatest physicists and cosmologists, is once again warning his fellow humans that our extinction is on the horizon unless we figure out a way to live in space.
Not known for conspiracy theories, Hawking’s rationale is that the Earth is far too delicate a planet to continue to withstand the barrage of human battering.
“We must continue to go into space for humanity,” Hawking said today, according to the Los Angeles Times. “We won’t survive another 1,000 years without escaping our fragile planet.”
Hawking, 71, made his statement during a lecture at Cedars-Sinai Regenerative Medicine Institute, according to the Los Angeles Times. He was touring the facility to getting a closer look at stem cell treatments for Lou Gehrig’s disease — the crippling degenerative condition that has kept him bound to a wheelchair for the last 50 years.

Doubt it. Earth will be fine for the next 1000s years definitely, with humans or without. People still have some kind of whimsy to think they rule the Earth and perceive Universe from their business perspective. Sorry, this time it is Planet Earth who will evacuate. From the parasites. Anyways, we have changes in the whole Solar System so far, not only on Earth.
The current earth doesn’t need humans, we are the parasites of the universe. Hawking is also an aetheist. The only way to save yourself from global destruction is to get saved. No mothership will come down to save us from ourselves bringing cures to disease, famine, pollution, and wars. God has determined we can’t do it ourselves. Only he can save you. That’s why we are in the situation we are in, the majority of the planet has turned away from God.
Getting saved by Jesus does not stop global destruction, it just gives you “fire insurance” for what happens AFTER the destruction.
The way humanity saves itself is by getting off this cosmic billiard ball before it gets slammed by a cue ball into a corner pocket.
I’m sorry that Stephen Hawking is ill, but I cannot place trust in the vision of a 71-year-old person who has had MS for 50 years. I’m sure he wants to continue to awe the world with his
“predictions,” but I’m afraid science has moved way beyond his realm of understanding. It does not take a genius to know that the earth will some day expire. Hawking is not well enough to know that his particular science is ho-hum, but he has to be admired for continuing to try.

Hawking got to the point of the big bang and,lo and behold, he was stymied. “What caused the big bang?” He asked. The equations cannot go beyond that point in time. At that point he contemplated an intelligent creator and had his moment of lucidity only to fall away back into the delusion that man is in control of his universe and destiny.
The realization that he has spent his whole life discovering that which has already been created by someone else must eat at his soul like a ravenous wolf. He is not in control…he does not know what the metaphysical has in store for him………he is LOST.
So now he is telling others to give up on this life and go die in space. Real elegant.
He are not spiritually ready and capable of handling ourselves up in the cosmos at this present time.
We cant even deal with our own selves down here, yet alone the technology along with it.
We are going to be stuck right here until we can permanently evolve ourselves and watch every single one of our backs unconditionally, we can not bring our current B.S. up there in space, it will not be tolerated.
And unless we can have unconditional love with each other and all the components along with it on this planet, and have profound respect for all life, we are stuck here and we have to be the ones to undo the damage before it becomes absolutely severe to a point that it becomes irreversible.
