Studying this very clear photograph it looks to be either some type of cocoon or a shedding of skin from some type of creature or insect! What is NASA not telling us??? Why isn’t every picture they post just as clear as this one? Obviously they have the hardware to show us these sharp HIRES images!

I wonder why “they” produce such low quality images. Is this to blame all finds on the “imagination”? It looks to me to be a piece of fabric. How old? One million years? In fact it has not been confirmed by NASA or anyone else that it is plastic. If you look at the picture that is inverse you can clearly see that it is organic in nature. it is not plastic. Even the NASA Rover web site says it has not been identified. So your comments are not correct.
