I know that my ex wife encourages the children of my former marriage to hate me with a passion, in fact it is positively encouraged and this is a guy that enforces that practice in his jurisdiction, but the puzzling thing here is your local snitch or nosy neighbor can get a psychological boost by having you placed on a watch those evil people list, without so much as a conscience. It would appear to be the preliminary way of people who don’t like other people to get the authorities to put them on the me last list. As an example if the ex bruises the kids, even if I have not seen them in a while, there will immediately be at my doorstep two or three government agencies, and worse they do not need any proof, none whatsoever. We live in scary times, very scary.
