Kokesh July 4th Loaded Gun March On Washington Already Attracting Mainstream Gaze

Yes indeed, Adam Kokesh is officially going the whole hog – as he forces the 2nd Amendment rights issue by doing what few talk show hosts and advocates are prepared to – taking the fight directly to the White House.
Kokesh is proposing a march on Washington DC and has invited liberty overs to join him – with load weapons and in an open carry fashion. It’s almost certain that this campaign will attract all sides of the mainstream media spectrum – and expect the likes of CNN and White House network channel MSNBC to publicly hang him (in media terms) for even suggesting such a challenge to the US federal government.
Salon.com has already begun the ritual character assassination on Kokesh (see story below) in an attempt to discredit him, but in usual MSM hit-piece fashion, author ALEX SEITZ-WALD is unable to actually challenge Kokesh on the Constitutional merrits of what’s being proposed on July 4th.
CNN’s own expert on American affairs, British host Piers Morgan, is rumoured to have already inquired about getting Kokesh on his the big stage. If Kokesh does appear on CNN, if will likely wash away the Alex Jones gun debate/debacle which aired a few months earlier, unless of course, Alex himself decides to crash Adam’s patriot party – but it’s highly doubtful that Jones would leave the relative calm and safety of the Austin city limits and join in on a fully locked and loaded march on Washington.
Adam vs the Man will soon become ‘Adam vs the White House’. We applaud his super-sized balls on this one…

Libertarian activist and radio host Adam Kokesh is hoping to get 1,000 people to march on Washington on July 4 — armed with loaded rifles.
The plan, launched with a Facebook group today, is to gather on the Virginia side of the Potomac, where gun laws are lax, and then march across the bridge with loaded rifles slung over their shoulders into the District, where openly carrying weapons is generally prohibited.
“This will be a non-violent event,” the Facebook group warns, “unless the government chooses to make it violent.” Already, over 200 people have said they’ll attend the march. Here’s the message:
On the morning of July 4, 2013, Independence Day, we will muster at the National Cemetery & at noon we will step off to march across the Memorial Bridge, down Independence Avenue, around the Capitol, the Supreme Court, & the White House, then peacefully return to Virginia across the Memorial Bridge. This is an act of civil disobedience, not a permitted event. We will march with rifles loaded & slung across our backs to put the government on notice that we will not be intimidated & cower in submission to tyranny. We are marching to mark the high water mark of government & to turn the tide. This will be a non-violent event, unless the government chooses to make it violent. Should we meet physical resistance, we will peacefully turn back, having shown that free people are not welcome in Washington, & returning with the resolve that the politicians, bureaucrats, & enforcers of the federal government will not be welcome in the land of the free.
Kokesh is a former Marine who was discharged in 2007 after violating the military’s code against engaging in political activity while in uniform. Kokesh was highly active in the antiwar movement after serving in Iraq, participating in numerous protests and getting arrested on occasion.
He started an anti-government radio show as the Tea Party picked up steam and was eventually picked up by RT, the news channel funded by the Russian government that is often critical of U.S. policy, where he promoted both the Tea Party and Occupy Wall Street in a worldview that some sociologists describe as “fusion paranoia,” a visceral anti-governmentalism that isn’t limited to typical left-right divides.
He ran into trouble when he endorsed Ron Paul in the 2012 election, which led to an FEC complaint and his termination from RT, though employees have told me privately that there were other, darker issues.
Since then, he’s taken his show “Adam vs. The Man” to the Internet, and seems to have become increasingly radicalized. “It’s time to abolish the US federal government,” he tweeted yesterday. Today he tweeted this:

Whether Kokesh actually goes through with his plan remains to be seen — he says he won’t do it unless 1,000 join him — but the protest may strike a chord with gun fanatics, who stage “open carry” protests across the country to fight gun control laws. There was one in Washington in 2010, but those rallying inside District lines did not actually carry weapons.
Kokesh did not immediately return an email seeking an interview (a message on his website says he’s in Barcelona), but we will update if he does.

Hell of an idea. But, it should be lots more than 1000. More like 100,000 and they should blockade all the roads in and out of DC spreading nails over the highways. They should be spread at any opportune point along hundreds of miles of highways en route to DC, and the attack should continue until obama resigns. Blockade DC, and you disable obama.

I spy a REPTILIAN eye on Kokesh (from pic above)… Basically everything you get or is picked up by the mainstream is part of the adgenda and is not what it’s made out to be. Prob a good idea to think long and hard about who your standing behind…. It’s totally possible this guy could lead you to the first round of slaughters/ arrests while your still trying to figure out why he didn’t have your back. Maybe I’m wrong, but my gut check says don’t buy into it.

People do understand that this will result in a felony charge, don’t they? I enjoy the dedication to their 2nd Amendment rights but if they do this they will lose those very rights. The one good thing it might do is to force this issue back into SCOTUS and the verdict should be that no local or state government has the right to violate a citizens inalienable right to carry a firearm. There’s already been a couple of judgments that way but a lot of jurisdictions are not recognizing that right.

Washington, D.C. is NOT a part of the USA and therefore has no constitutional protections. Guns have been banned there and the carrying of such will lead to arrest….if not worse. These 1000 may end up being sacrificial lambs that start the civil unrest that will bring martial law and implementation of FEMA concentration camps. Remember the PNAC statement that change may take time absent a catastrophic event.

1000 Armed men crossing the bridge locked and loaded in a peaceful protest will have more eyes on it then whatever American Idiot is on tv that day/night.
The government will protect us from these scary gun toting villains. Those who find the 2nd Amendment irrelevant will feel justified and the message will be lost on them. Better to do this in smaller, frequent demonstrations in the States, where the education might take root.

I support this idea, but the reservations I have are that this march will be fertil ground for a false flag action such as co-intelpro scum starting fights and shooting up the place to be blamed on the patriots.
Let every patriot arm up on july 4th….If law enforcement does not like it, arrest them and put them in their own jails. If obama gets froggy, overthrow the entire mess in every village, town, city, county and state. Then the entire obama government can be hung along with Congress, the bureaucrats, and DHS, IRS, ATF, DEA, FDA etc…. Obama cannot control this entire country nor can he overcome a total effort to get rid of the gun grabbers and PC assholes.
