When Jesus Will Return Revealed
When asked by His disciples when He would return to set up His Kingdom on this earth, Jesus told them “As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be at the coming of the Son of Man.” (1) So of course the next most obvious question is “what was it like in the days of Noah”. If we can understand that, then we can know when Jesus will return. We won’t know the exact day or hour, but he gave His disciples several signs that would herald his return, one of which was this one.
The reason that God asked Noah to build an ark was because their society was corrupt and evil. Can we say the same about today? Are our institutions corrupt or do they conduct their affairs honestly and fairly? Is our government corrupt or do they have the best interests of the people at heart? Is our society riddled with violence, scams, drunkenness, pornography, sex crimes, murder, abuse, family violence and the like? It’s getting there. Are most people honest and good, or are we concerned about being mugged, ripped off, robbed, or taken advantage of? Do we trust each other or are we cautious in our dealings with others?
The next question regarding this is why were only a few people saved from the flood? Were these the only “good” people on earth? Well, according to the Bible, yes. Only Noah and his family. The Bible says that the rest of the people were “only evil all the time”. That’s pretty bad. Not only was there evil, but all the time as well. Society had sunk so low that they no longer could tell the difference between right and wrong. Corruption and evil worked it’s way through society to the point where it became the “new normal”. We might be able to understand it by considering this. Fifty years ago life was much different than it is today. There was very little violence in movies. People still did business on a hand shake. Kids walked to school by themselves, families went to church together, corruption was rare, murders were few and far between, robberies were not very common, sex crimes were rare, and neighbors talked to each other. How that has changed. Are we starting to sink to a lower and lower level of existence? And by doing so does this mean that we will soon reach a point where we will all become totally corrupt. Does the fish really rot from the head down? And if this is where we are headed, how much longer will it be before Jesus returns?
He said we should watch for the signs. To me, the signs are all there. He could arrive at any time, and personally I wish He would. The whole world has gone crazy and we need someone to straighten things out and get us back on track or we will indeed destroy ourselves. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. 27 And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved.
28 Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. 29 Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip. 30 They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents. 31 They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy. 32 They know God’s justice requires that those who do these things deserve to die, yet they do them anyway. Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too.
This is the world we are living in, if you deny it you are blind and the truth is not in you. Our only hope is in Jesus.
Romans 3:23-31
23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. 24 Yet God, with undeserved kindness, declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. 25 For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. Jesus said we would know when we are in the season of His return and we would also know when it is right at the door, or truly imminent:
“Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door.”

We are in the final generation and in the season of the Second Coming, but it is not imminent, much has to come first. Concerning the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ (the rapture), the apostle Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 to not let any man deceive you in any way, for that day (the rapture) will not come until there comes a falling away FIRST and the Antichrist is revealed. So Paul said that the Antichrist will come first and then the Day of Jesus Christ, or rapture, comes after that. So here’s a BIG clue: the Antichrist has to come first.
Here is how and when we will know the Second Coming is right at the door, or truly imminent:
There are 3 woes in the Book of Revelation (REV 8:13). In the 1st woe, which lasts 5 months, Abaddon, or the Destroyer (REV 9:11), comes on the scene. During the first woe, no one dies, though many will wish they could (see REV 9:6). But many, many, many will die in the 2nd and 3rd woes (Trumpets 6 and 7). There are 4 angels bound right now at the Euphrates river. When they are loosed, they will kill a third of all mankind (see REV 9:14-15, this is during the time of the second woe). The 2nd woe consists of the 1260 day (REV 11:3) ministry of the two who are one. Their 1260 days coincides with the 1260 days of the Antichrist (Mr. 666). Then at the conclusion of the 1260 days of the two witnesses, at the conclusion of the 2nd woe, the 3rd woe will come quickly thereafter (REV 11:14). The 3rd woe occurs simultaneously with, and in concert with, the Second Coming (rapture). It is at the conclusion of the 2nd woe that the 3rd woe/Second Coming will be truly imminent, right at the door (Matthew 24:33).
At the advent of the 3rd woe, at the sounding of the 7th trumpet (REV 11:15), there will be “a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great” (REV 16:18). And Christ will come riding on the clouds (REV 1:7) in a more than awesome burst of power and glory to set up the eternal kingdom of God at the glorious conclusion and climatic and cataclysmic exclamation point at the end of the age known as the Second Coming of Christ!

After reading this article I wanted to build an ark myself. The government said I had no right to the amount of wood I needed and a part if not all of my life would be taken from me.
I was told by the government that my life would be taken from my control if I tried to gather the animals from this land in any number.
I was told by this government that if I was planning on leaving this country I would commit treason and have my life taken from me.
I was told that to talk of an ark is terroristic and I would have my life taken in part if not in whole.
I was told that that much saw dust could be used to make an explosive and I would have part if not all of my life taken.
I was also told that making preparations does incline others to believe i am somehow part of the act or had knowledge of it and that makes me an accessory. I will have part if not all of my life removed.

I have a question, what is so special about those that look for an escape from earth (rapture).
Every person God dealt with and accounted righteous, from Enoch on until now, had to live their lives in this world until their death. They endured until the end as Christ has commanded for us to do.
It seems those banking on escaping the end times feel they have earned or some how deserve to be raptured out of the end times. They must be better Christians then the 12 Apostles some of whom were murdered in horrible fashion. Some stoned, given to wild animals ect.

An example you might want to consider; the children of Israel did feel the pain of slavery but as God poured out His Wrath on Egypt, actually destroying Egypt they have never recovered from God’s Wrath, were protected in their home. When the death angel came the Blood of Jesus Christ is the only protection they needed. Do you need to escape because you have no trust in God’s power? My Father can protect me in the middle of an atomic bomb blast.
And to desert owl — the 5th Seal / great tribulation will not start until America is crushed. Not long into the tribulation 2/3 of our population will be dead and the remaining 1/3 will be taken into captivity. Why do you think the most powerful nation the world has ever seen is not in prophecy?
