2 Parties No Longer Matter: Out Of Control Bureaucracies Rule Obama

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

by Monica Davis

You are prey. It no longer matters who is in the White House. The predators have existed for generations and they are used to enduring the four or eight years of the current Resident. Bash Clinton, Bush II, and  Obama all you want. When they are gone, the bureaucracies will be there, doing their thing–for themselves and masters that we will never see.

As we foam at the mouth over this or that scandal, the  bureaucracies behind the scenes do what they have always done: conduct business as usual and follow the ant trail that their masters have laid down.  The trail, the legacy, is milennia old.to a set of  European trading companies more than four centuries ago.

People forget that this “nation” was created by a Charter, permission from the British or French monarch for private companies to condct business. The trading companies are some of the oldest corporations in the world and aced as de facto governments.

The Hudson’s Bay Company (French: Compagnie de la Baie d’Hudson), abbreviated HBC, or “The Bay” (“La Baie” in French) is the oldest commercial corporation in North America and one of the oldest in the world. A fur trading business for much of its existence, today Hudson’s Bay Company owns and operates retail stores throughout Canada and the United States including Hudson’s Bay(formerly The Bay), ZellersHome Outfitters and Lord & Taylor. The company head office is in the Simpson Tower in Toronto, Ontario.[2]

The company was incorporated by English royal charter in 1670 as The Governor and Company of Adventurers of England trading into Hudson’s Bay and functioned as the de facto government in parts of North America before European states and later the United States laid claim to those territories. It was at one time the largest landowner in the world, with Rupert’s Land having 15% of North American acreage. From its long-time headquarters at York Factory on Hudson Bay, the company controlled the fur trade throughout much of British-controlled North America for several centuries. Undertaking early exploration, its traders and trappers forged early relationships with many groups of First Nations/Native Americans. Its network of trading posts formed the nucleus for later official authority in many areas of Western Canada and the United States. In the late 19th century, its vast territory became the largest component in the newly formed Dominion of Canada, in which the company was the largest private landowner. MOREHERE

Now, given the age of these old companies, the organic bureaucracies which developed right alongside the official rules and regulations, the relationships they created with colonial, Native American and now Federal organizations, how can we be suprised that other organizatios follow the same behavior that has been created over the centuries?

The goal of any organization is expansion. By any means necessary.  Bureaucracies are self-replicating and self-sufficient. They exist independ of formal oganizations and their lives are almost forever. In defining a bureacracy, one analyst said:

It is not ruled by any Administrator or Managing Director, but by the collective survivalist rule of its employees.  Changes in structure or operation happen only slowly and incrementally.  The business of bureaucracies is to stay alive, to self-nurture, grow, and expand.  No one plans this expansion, the additional departments, the staffing up, the duplicate and triplicate layers of authority and responsibility, the little, minor arrogations of power which add to the inertial force of this unintelligent amoeba.  Bureaucracies simply ooze and spread until they absorb everything in their path. MOREHERE
Now we come to the latest political firestorm, where a bureaucracy–with the blessing of the current administration–collected cell phone records of millions of Americans.  The Electronic Frontier Foundation says that should come as no suprise to anyone who has been paying attention lately.

The recent revelation that the National Security Agency (NSA) is collecting the telephone records of millions of Verizon customers, with the complete blessing of the Obama administration, should come as no surprise to anyone who has been paying attention over the past decade.

As I document in my new book A Government of Wolves: The Emerging American Police State(at Amazon.com), what we are witnessing, in the so-called name of security and efficiency, is the creation of a new class system comprised of the watched (average Americans such as you and me) and the watchers (government bureaucrats, technicians and private corporations).

What too many fail to realize, consumed as they are with partisan politics and blinded by their own political loyalties, is that the massive bureaucracies–now computerized–that administer governmental policy transcend which party occupies the White House.    SOURCE

I beg to differ with the author, John Whitehead. This so-called new class is nothing new.  It has existed for centuries, where ever bureaucracies existed.  It existed in the great bureacracies of China, Rome and colonial Britain, France and Spain.  And it exists as it has for centuries in the United States.

The National Security is but one agency trying to expand its influence and corrupt politicians and would be regulators in Congress. The only difference is now the organization has the technology to bring spying and manipulation into the 21st century, with tools that the ancients would have drooled over.

It is now important to take part in the underground economy and to plan for the national divide. The IRS lost its relevance and should not be recognized as an important factor in our earned incomes. Let the progressives have the north..it is polluted with 207 languages, dirty water and filthy streets.
