To take this story at face value we are asked to believe that for two weeks Mr. Snowden has avoided being found by an alphabet soup of US, Australian and British agents presumably trying to silence him; all the while Mr. Snowden remaining very communicative with the press, the Wikileaks attorneys, and other governments all over the world. I find that thoroughly implausible.
So the story being told cannot be taken at face value. After that, where does the truth end and the fiction begin? Or is it all fiction? We may never know.
