Gordon: We Have Met the Enemy and They is U.S.

Pogo was almost right.  Other than missing some punctuation and captital letters.  And truly, “they” ain’t “us” at all.  The entire establishment system is beyond corrupt and yes, they are demeaning, disenfranchising if not outright killing us.  Count the ways, those of you with open eyes.

Time to stop saying “we” as in reference to “we invaded Iraq.”  We did not.  We are no longer part of that which the American govermob pursues in our name.  Endless war of naked conquest, generating reasonable hatered of “us” is not what Americans would choose.  Toddlers in chains, forced to witness the murder of their parents is not the American way, yet that formerly known as “we” supported those “rebels”.

“We,” the rekindled we, are Americans who value truth, justice and the American way of democracy and rule of law.  We thought we gave our “blood and treasure” to share with others this noble goal and yes, this is worth dying for – giving freedom and hope and a chance for an ideal life to others.  This is the reason we went into Iraq willingly, but we were fooled.  Nothing of the sort was to transpire.

We have learned now the hard way (for there is no other way) that there are grand, long-term conspiracies against all that we hold dear and that these are no longer theories.  We shall arise, anew, informed, stronger, unstoppable and WE shall obviate that which is not us.
