The sculpture was crafted by Dr. Charles Villandre, a surgeon at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Paris. Dr. Villandre was obviously also a very accomplished sculptor, who also sculpted a study of what Christ actually looked like crucified on the cross.

Of course the shroud is real. Just like my bathing towel! Or my dishcloth, etc. You are going to have to come up with something better.
And why does the picture look like every picture known to man about Christ. He has long hair and the Bible says it is a shame for a man to have long hair and the Bible is written by GOD!!!
The Shroud Victim’s hair is neither long nor short. It’s moderate in length.
