Why the United States Government Wants You to Give Up Your Religion

I love the smell of napalm in the morning. Uncle Sam Wants You…to Give Up Your Religion!

That the government wants you to give up your religion is obvious, but two points should be made before you get into the specific why.

First, when we talk about government we are talking about bureaucrats who abuse their power to push a terrible agenda to destroy the United States. I recently heard this movement described as democide, and it does fit.

Second, while there are many elected officials who are outraged whenever the right to pray in a school, or expressions of religion, or even Christmas itself, goes under attack…the truth is that these are in the minority, or just plain lying.

Otherwise we wouldn’t be faced by the same breaking news day after day about prayer being outlawed and all the other insanities that outright break the first amendment to our constitution. They could fight back and bring the bureaucrats into line with a simple vote; our elected officials could EASILY handle this problem, should they wish.

Okay, that brings us to the big WHY they don’t want you worshipping your God.

The reasoning here is very simple. The government doesn’t want us worshipping a God, they don’t want you practicing your religion,…because they want us worshipping them.

Think about it, the United States government is an expression of force. To the degree that the government can say ‘no’ and arrest and imprison people for breaking any cockamamie law they come up with, to that extent does the government have power. But how effect will their attempt to be the sole power be if there is something else that the people believe in that is bigger than government?

The government desperately doesn’t want lean, mean people with a gleam in their eyes who are willing to stand in front of their progress and say, “My God is larger than Ceasar!”

I hope you understand what is at heart here. Religion, whether you have one or not, is an expression of morality, morality is the expression of spirit. Spirit motivates people towards freedom, and places them right in the path of todays modern governmental machine.

The government does not want people of spirit to stand in their way, so they do everything they can to make sure that the manufacturers of spirit–churches, religion, anything that smacks of the first amendment rights–is destroyed.

So, the solution? Practice religion, establish spiritual practices in your life, worship, and be willing to head downtown, right to the doorstep of your elected official, and tell him he is going to be facing problems in his next election if he doesn’t get off the pot and protect the first amendment, which includes Your Religion!

And even if you don’t believe in a God, you should get on board with this movement, because once the government is successful in altering behavior on a spiritual level, they will take the next step in turning all citizens into little and polite, bowing and scraping slaves. When you protect the first amendment you are protecting speech and the right to have meetings and community, the right to actually petition the government for change…along with your religion.
