BREAKING NEWS via Egyptian Streets: President Morsi Placed Under House Arrest

Reports and military sources have stated that President Morsi has been placed under house arrest by security forces. No other information available at this time.

Other reports are indicating that Essam Al-Erian and Essam Sultan have been arrested at Cairo’s International Airport while attempting to flee Egypt on a flight to Amman, Jordan.

The crowd at Tahrir Square is jubilant, with the roar of hundreds of thousands of Morsi’s opponents’ shouted slogans swelling into revolutionary chants while fireworks is fired into the skies over Cairo.
