This hero dog from Chile once again proves Descartes (and all 21st century cartesian-folks) wrong. He selflessly throws himself in the middle of the highway to save an injured dog that had been hit by a car. They both lived, thanks to this canine hero.
Other animals do have emotions and everyone who has lived with a companion animal knows it. Furthermore, altruism (just as every other characteristic) is not a unique a characteristic of human beings. To think otherwise makes no evolutionary sense.
To learn more about how to respect other animals interest watch my playlist about their rights. Or simply, go vegan.

i think this is a couple years old, either that or Chile’ has the most compassionate dogs in the world! i do get the point, either way it’s a great story, made national news, where i saw it. it’s truly amazing when you flip it to a subway in NY where a dozen people stand and watch one person fall, it’s very disgusting. ultimately i think this is a sign we should be nicer to our pets because when their MOTHERSHIP returns they’re gonna be pissed!! this is a great story, i don’t want you to think I’m poo-pooing it, not at all. i will, however, poo-poo the vegan thing. do what you like but we are not built, created, to not eat meat. sorry bout that, still love the dog story, although I’ve never tasted one.
