I can see that many of these are pretty alarming, do not misunderstand me. However, I was born and raised and live in the desert valley’s of Arizona. Our monsoon season hits this time every year and though some years are more intense then others, the short but intense rain and flashflooding is a part of it, every year. Gullies and washes flow, trails get washed out, freeways get pools for a few hours, trees blow over, some houses get flooded. It happens all the time in the summer here. I may venture to say this is normal in Las Vegas too as they have a similar season off the same moisture flow from Mexico this time of year. Just saying.
