Would Shooting Looters Work for the Bash Mobs?

I love the smell of napalm in the morning. Shoot the Bash Mob Looters and Let God Sort Them Out!

Speaking of Bash Mobs, I am reminded of the Prisoners of War in Slaughterhouse Five. Working in Dresden, after the bombing, one of the American PWs picks up a very valuable antique from the debris. He holds it up, exclaiming he has found something, but the Germans shoot him for his troubles.

Shoot him dead. For looting.

Looting is an old practice, considered part of the victory spoils by an army. Soldiers who conquered the enemy were free to take what they wanted.

And, it was eventually discouraged. I guess the military opinion transformed into a belief that soldiers should fight for the good cause, instead of loot.

An interesting opinion, one that took all the incentive out of good, old fashioned war.

Nowadays we fight for freedom, for democracy, or, if you happen to be one of the ‘bad guys,’ for communism, or Islam, or your homeland.

And looting is frowned upon.

In fact, if you are caught looting in a war zone…bang. You’re dead.

The message here, by the honorable people who believe in war, is that you shouldn’t take advantage of a tragedy to enrich yourself. Or, perhaps, to feed yourself.

That said, we have had war declared on the streets of the United States. Young punks are taking advantage of the Trayvon Martin tragedy to roam the streets, to destroy property, to take whatever they want.

Thus, any honorable motive put to Trayvon Martin is betrayed by these bash mobs…for where is the honor of cause? Where is the fight for justice…when you are just a thief.

And, if honor has gone out of warfare, if a cause has been betrayed, then why not go back to the original practice of shooting the looters?

This author lived in Los Angeles during the Rodney King riots, and he can tell you the EXACT moment when the riots ended.

The moment armed Koreans were shown on TV marching on the rooftops…with the intent of protecting their property.

Look, the government has no intention of protecting you or your property. When the Rodney King riots started the government in Los Angeles called all the cops in to protect city hall. They left the people of the city to their own devices.

And, the mobs ruled. People were shown breaking in to businesses, taking TV sets and whatever else they could carry. And it is assumed that these degenerates went home to their mothers and fathers and basked in the accolades for a job well done.

There was even one unbelievable instance shown on TV where a female police officer came upon a mob looting a store, and she politely asked them to go home.

Showing great respect, the looters did so, with all the goods of the store carried under arm and over shoulder.

Ah, law and order. Eh?

Anyway, now the bash mobs, as they are called, are using Twitter and other social media to organize, and then gather for some looting.

And, if somebody shot one of these looters in the head, scattered the rest, then we could have another Trayvon Martin type of trial!

Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson could come to town, the shooter could be charged with a hate crime, and the loot suppressed at the trial.

Have we got a country…or what?
