Activist 2 Feet From Obama: "Don't Drone Me Barry" - Obama Get's Pissed

President Obama was confronted over his drone policy Friday, while shaking hands with supporters at the Lackawanna College in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

“I had to basically make my point with as little words as possible,” said Anthony Antonello, activist and host of the “Silence Is Compliance” radio show. “I figured ‘Barry, don’t drone me Barry’ and ‘stop droning Americans’ would pretty much cover it.”

Antonello, who had attempted to attend an Obama rally two years ago as a member of the press, says he was denied access after revealing his name, leading him to believe he was kept away for his political views.

“This time I decided to not even attempt to go in as press. I’m gonna go in as a regular person,” said Antonello.

Although Obama appears to ignore Antonello as he asks not to be taken out via drone strike, at one point during the confrontation, Obama can be seen motioning to a secret service agent before whispering in his ear.

“Nobody said anything to me… when I left the building I had other people say thanks to me,” said Antonello.

Obama’s drone policy, which has killed as many as 4,700 people according to several US officials, has only contributed to his plummeting approval ratings. Some researchers believe that36 innocent civilians are killed per 1 suspected terrorist. Estimates out of Pakistan believe the ratio to be closer to 50 to 1.

Just last May, the Obama administration admitted to killing at least four Americans with predator drones overseas without charge or trial, despite many already being aware of his targeting of Americans, including the assassination of 16-year-old American citizen Abdulrahman al-Awlaki.

Earlier this year, a leaked Justice Department memo revealed that the Obama administration believes it has the authority to assassinate Americans anywhere in the world, even if there is no intelligence indicating that they are planning an attack against the US.

Despite the drone program being public knowledge, former White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs recently admitted that he was ordered to act as if the drone program didn’t exist.

“When I went through the process of becoming press secretary, one of the first things they told me was, you’re not even to acknowledge the drone program,” Gibbs said to MSNBC. “You’re not even to discuss that it exists.”  This article originally appeared at SecretsOfTheFed.com.
