A lot of people are aware of “The Pirate Bays” reputation for internet file sharing, but now a revolutionary new concept called “The Pirate Network” may change the very fabric of communication forever.  Currently the Project is in development and is in need of funding.  Physical prototypes are being developed “to create a decentralized and uncensored network to give people free access to communication and information.” This could revolutionize the way people communicate ideas freely all across the world with out the tyrannical intervention of big Government using thought police to inter fear with public communication.  With new Revelations on the NSA and its massive spying program its only natural that the public take a stand with new technology protecting there freedom of speach and the right to privacy.  Hopefully the general public can force the government to realize that “We The People” are the sovereign and that Government is only a mer public servant and nothing more.

Landing page and interface for a Pirate Wi-Fi network is now working, users can log in/register, post a status and/or photo. kind of like a mesh wifi network + 4Chan. Although the final product will have many more features. Early stages, so much more to come soon, including many more features such as private encrypted messaging, a market place and video streaming. according to “The Pirate network” Project  “The challenge of making the software for the Prate Wi-Fi device is keeping it low resource, so it runs well on the hardware but still offers all the features you would need.“

Another new feature included is the ability to add a password onto the network, although this will mean that the device will only mesh with devices with the same network name + password. This feature gives people the ability to set up a private, secure and password protected network using the Pirate Wi-Fi devices.

This interface is for the Pirate Wi-Fi devices, not the Internet version of the Pirate Network.

According to “The Pirate network” the “first stable Wi-Fi device ready for our stall on the 16th August.”
