First Amendment Troubles! Propaganda Ban Repealed!

I love the smell of napalm in the morning. Good by First Amendment…Hello Pravda!

For a government to control a people, there must not be a first amendment, there must not be freedom of the press.

Communism was enhanced in Russia by not having a first amendment. By using a newspaper called Pravda. Pravda translates literally as ‘truth.’

No other newspapers were allowed, there was no real freedom of the press, people could only read the ‘truth,’ and the ‘truth’ was put out only by…the government.

What a vicious circle, eh? And it explains why an entire country was tied down, not allowed freedom, kept at a low pace, the citizens in fear, and the rest of the world was constantly wondering whether this government accountable to no one would toss an A bomb their way.

But that could never happen in the United States! you say. We’ve got a first amendment! We’ve got freedom of the press!

Well, hate to say it, but it has.

First off, the media agencies is owned by vested interests. The same people who own senators and congressmen, and entire political parties, own ABC, NBC, and the other channels. All stories are tailored to slant all facts; all stories are written to sway people to think in the manner that the established press wants them to think; all press support the puppets such as Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and the various programs they support. So much for the first amendment.

Health care wouldn’t have been passed if the news agencies hadn’t been pushing it, filtering it, making it sound all rosy, in spite of common sense and all facts.

There would have been MUCH more outrage if the press had actually supported finding out the facts in Benghazi, the CIA targeting of political groups, and all the other scandals that have come down the pike.

One would think that would be enough, eh? The government is already corrupting freedom with their general suppression of the first amendment and getting away with it, and hardly a word about it…what more could they want?

They want a country where the only news is their pravda. They want a country where there is no first amendment freedom. Thus, in direct contradiction to the first amendment, they have repealed a ban on government propaganda.

The repeal is called the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012, and it directly attacks the first amendment.

This enables them to slam thousands of hours per week of government generated news down the throats of American citizens.

One of the first efforts of this government propaganda arm has been the smearing of legitimate journalists. Thus, they undercut the media, and enhance themselves as the sole proprietor of news.

This explains ‘trollbots,’ which in some cases are directly generated by the pentagon in an effort to discredit articles which they feel are contrary to their specific interests (war, etc.)

This, incidentally, explains the recent scandal regarding the government’s actions towards James Rosen.

And this suppression of the first amendment is just the tip of the iceberg. An iceberg designed to cut the hull of the US of A and sink this pesky thing called democracy to the depths of the darkest, deepest ocean.

Why would they want to do this?

One, it is more efficient than the regular and established news media. And they don’t care if they cut the throats of those who they own, who have aided them in achieving a coup of the United States of America.

Two, the Main Stream Media is no longer effective. People are no longer watching ABC, CNN, and company for the simple reason that the news on those channels is bogus. People don’t want to tune in to lies.

So the government is directly attacking the first amendment, unleashing direct propaganda, and will no doubt begin efforts to tax and regulate and otherwise smear and discredit other news media that are not quite mainstream, but which people are flocking to.

Add to this such heinous acts as suppressing the internet, and you have a complete coup, a takeover of the first amendment as regards freedom of the press.
