The ultimate drone is the Flybot.

This little high tech, mechanical critter is tiny enough to perch on your pinkie, yet can deliver a debilitating wallop to any target.

The Flybot was introduced a few years ago, has appeared in a handful of novels as a killer drone, and yet is almost unknown, and definitely unsuspected, for its military capabilities.

First, the flybot can be made within one week. There are only four major parts, and what this means is that the cost is very low compared to normal drones.

Second, make one a bit larger, say large enough to perch on your thumb instead of your pinkie, and you now have a killer payload capability.

Imagine a pea of C4 explosive flown right into the mouth of an unsuspecting target. Whamo, instant toothache and, molars to ears, your target is gone.

The size of the flybot can be increased, as can be the size of the payload.

Imagine a hoard of these killers flying through the streets, searching for bad guys. So small you can’t shoot them down, so much mobility they can attack from any unsuspecting angle. Hitler would have loved them.

Which brings us to the next question, when will the United States government choose to use them against her own citizens?

That they will is not in doubt; the United States government uses NSA computers to bother with your email and hack into your computer, they already use bigger drones to take down targets across the globe, they have no problem with ignoring that pesky constitution thing.

So why not Jim Bob, toting his hunting rifle across the Pennsylvania landscape in search of a deer?

Doesn’t matter that Jim Bob just wants to feed his family, his deer hunting license is expired, and he believes in the second amendment, so he’s a clear target for destruction.

The only good news here is that the relative cost of the flybot is so small that they won’t have to raise our taxes to kill us with them.
