Our political process has become so completely separated from anything that resembles a popularly sovereign democracy that they even have become separated from feeling the need to provide at least somewhat rational sounding reasons for killing whatever batch of Arabs is next on the list. ‘The Powers That Be’ indeed have gotten used to doing whatever the hell they want.
