Mayor Bloomberg’s Daughter & Argentine Ramiro Quintana Having a Boy

This week, the daughter of New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg announced she and her boyfriend are having a baby boy.

Georgina Bloomberg and her boyfriend Ramiro Quintana of Argentina revealed the pregnancy in late June, but recently announced they’re having a boy at a party to celebrate her Hamptons Magazine cover.

The 30-year-old also stated that she and Quintana have no plans to marry, saying, “I live with my boyfriend, but I never want to get married. I’ve always been non-traditional. My father hasn’t pressured me to get married. He respects my decision. I will have the baby in New York and then move to Florida, where I spend the winter.”

She went on to say they have been looking at names, but have yet to decided on one. The bouncing baby boy is due on Christmas Day.

Quintana and Bloomberg met through the professional equestrian circuit, as both are professional riders. Bloomberg said she plans to ride in the upcoming Hampton Classic Horse Show, but it will be her last.
