Colorado in 72 hour lockdown-Massive Flooding-Panic-Looting-Reports of Cannibalism

With much of the top half of the state of Colorado in emergency lockdown because of flooding, Governor John Hickenlooper has declared a state of emergency.

Widespread flooding has caused martial law to be implemented in some cities and curfews are being set at 10 pm mountain time. Various reports on websites include rumors of cannibalism and looting. One poster replied that, “This one guy went up a bit another dude in the arm and I saw a small piece of flesh rip off.”

The National Guard has been called in to many towns in which is said about one in paticular, “ Lyons is “facing a 500+ year flood event,” the town said on its Facebook page Thursday. It said the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment issued an advisory for residents to boil water for drinking, and it advised residents who are blocked in to “be prepared to be self-contained for up to 72 hours” and to try to help neighbors in need.” source timescall.com

Fema is expected to arrive Friday to aid in emergency relief.
