Cops Hold Children At Gun Point For Being On A Roof, School Defends Cops (Video)
(N.Morgan) One of the many reasons I am a firm believer in homeschooling your children. Another case of police brutality, only this time, it is aimed at the children. When three middle schoolers climbed on top of the roof at their local middle school during off hours, they didn’t think they’d end up stuck up at gunpoint by police officers aiming assault rifles at them ordering them to submit, but that’s just what happened at Port Charlotte Middle school in southwest Florida. Mike Riley, Charlotte County Public Schools Spokesperson justified the police’s response by saying the children “knew they shouldn’t have” climbed on the roof, “I don’t care if they’re in kindergarten or if they’re seniors in high school, they know the rules.” “I really can’t speak for law enforcement, but with the incident that happened, the murder of Sergeant Wilson, I’m sure when those guys respond to a call that there are three individuals on a roof of a school, they’re nervous when they get there now.”

Indeed, that same “nervousness” is what drove Officer Daniel Alvarado of San Antonio’s Northside Independent School District Police to shoot and kill 14-year-old Derek Lopez after he got in a scuffle with a fellow student, Derek fled from the cop rather than submit, and he paid for it with his life after Alvarado gunned him down out of “fear for [his] own safety.”
That same nervousness is no doubt what drove this unnamed cop’s actions in a recent incident out of Aurora, Colorado in which cops shut down a road searching for a bank robber. They ordered everyone out of their cars one by one and held them at gunpoint, video from the local news showed a police officer with a shotgun sticking up a child with his finger ready to pull the trigger.
Rule number one of gun safety is never point your gun at something you don’t intend to shoot. I guess if you’re a cop and you’re “nervous” everyone is fair game. No wonder Antonio Buehler says cops are cowards.

Wow. I feel sorry for these Officers. When TEOTWAWKI comes – ouch!!!! There’s gonna be a LOT of pissed off civilians. Just saying. They should smarten up while there is still time.
Not only are there going to be a bunch of pissed off citizens out for revenge, there will be whole lot more citizens turning their back when those SOB’s are running for their lives when the riots and looting start. I don’t think they realize how hopelessly outnumbered they are. When (and I did say when, not if) the SHTF cops are going to need all the help they can get. Too bad they have victimized so many decent citizens. Most people wouldn’t give them the time of day & they surely aren’t going to risk their lives to try and help one out. You few good cops out their, I apologize but, you know the system has gone to hell. You run with a bad crowd & a mob looking for revenge isn’t going to see anything but that uniform. Too many cops today love that uniform & gun more than they love their country. They’ll hang on to that uniform & gun no matter what they are ordered to do & how much that order contradicts the oath they took.
Someone needs to take these pigs out to a corn field.
This is the type of thoughtless response and confrontation that give law enforcement a black eye. They’ve all been trained and are no doubt following the playbook word by word but like everything else in life they must also evaluate each situation individually and this photo is another example of excessive aggression and force.
What’s next, tassering a 90 year old using a walker? …..Oops, they already did that and shot him which ultimately killed him…
These cops should be stopped! Im outraged! Kids dont use guns to hurt anyone, they dont go on killing rampages, 9 year olds have never shot at cops or each other, what are these officers thinking, just because of those few thousand incidents where kids shot innocent kids, lets not overreact. Crazy cops. Next time i see a 9 year old with a gun im going to ask him or her nicely to put it down and walk away, wish me luck.
