Someone who looks very much like Glen Rosen, but in a red jacket this time, has been giving melodramatic and tearful interviews explaining how he tried to take the next-door neighbour into his holiday home which just happened to be next door. Several grainy photographs of someone purporting to be the gunman have been released to the media. He is apparently wearing an NRA baseball cap.
The suspect has a history of internet useage and psychiatric prescriptions. Neighbours describe him as a loner and as not having been seen in the area for many years.
President Obama has been addressing the nation to vow revenge on anybody who attempts to perpetrate ter’rist attacks in ‘Merica. He implies that many of these people are returning veterans of foreign wars, and Christians. His fingers punctuate all the meaningless phrases and open-ended cliches with specific hypnotic trance induction signals. He thinks it is time that all assault weapons, right down to the coloured plastic toy guns as used by children, should be registered, and background checks done on those who still own them. He reassures us that funding will not be denied to the DHS and TSA to enable them to keep us all safe by using new and non-lethal weaponry. He says that if drones had been authorized for use in this situation, it would never have occurred in the first place.
Senator Dianne Feinstein is saying to anybody who will listen that this goy is the kind of person who once perpetrated a holocaust on the jews, and it must never be allowed to happen again; at least not before a new law is passed to ensure that all survivors and their children and grandchildren should be financially recompensed.
As the tragic details of this latest meaningless act of violence are being paraded endlessly before a thoroughly cynical and brain-dead US population, word comes in that the suspect has been taken out in a hail of gunfire, and the house he was hiding out in has been set ablaze from end to end, unfortunately frying the woman next door and her 2-month old baby.
