‘Area 51 flights’ suspended due to government shutdown

‘Janet Airlines,’ unmarked aircraft used to shuttle people between Las Vegas and Area 51, are currently inactive due to the current Federal Gov’t shutdown
OpenMinds’ Alejandro Rojas, citing a Tweet from George Knapp, reports that the furloughs have grounded “Janet Airlines,” a fleet of unmarked passenger aircraft used thought the day to shuttle people between Vegas and Area 51.
I would have thought that black budget projects are totally insulated from Washington DC budget bickering. But, according to Knapp, “top-secret Employees [have been] furloughed.” So at least some of the in-the-dark goings-on at Area 51 are being discontinued ’til this is resolved.
