Bill Clinton, Bono and Christine Legarde… The sex & drug addict, the ‘One’ hypocrite and the IMF’s crooked head.

Presidents, pop idols and corporate heads shout about world poverty yet their hypocrisy knows no limits

An article appearing in today’s Independent sets out, in what is clearly nothing less than a book advertisement, how poverty in the developing world can be eradicated ‘through aid which is targeted correctly.

One has to wonder why it’s taken so long to work out that aid targeted incorrectly is not aid at all but simply the wasteful throwing of money into a black hole where predatory ‘charities’ or dubious ‘NGO’s’ lurk to take full advantage, of not only slack accounting procedures and control mechanisms which one would think would be standard practice when dishing out billions in taxpayers money, but also the lack of any accountability for the uses to which such huge sums are put.

But then again, it’s very easy for those handing out other people’s money in ‘aid’ when they’re not actually suffering the costs. Thus is the position of, not only governments, but also those unelected swine with their snouts in the money trough at such organisations as the EU and UN and whom the public have no redress or even ability to question.

This is what is called ‘democracy’?

The article in question says little about solving world poverty and as mentioned is simply ad advert for a book on the subject.

What caught my eye was the picture used to illustrate the fight against world poverty.

As you can see we have Bill Clinton, former President of the US, Bono, frontman of pseudo rock band U2 and Christine Lagarde, Head of the IMF who has been investigated on numerous counts of fraud whilst in office in the French government and the IMF itself.

Let’s take a closer look at these three dubious characters.

Firstly Bill ‘I didn’t have sex with that woman’ Clinton.

This man is a notorious womanizer and drug taker, namely cocaine. It is also widely alleged that as Governor of Arkansas he was heavily involved in the cocaine running business with flights coming in to his county airfield.

These are by no means the only links to Clinton and his drug dealing past but they’re enough to be getting on with.

Everybody including the dogs in the street know about Clinton’s womanising so I won’t bore the reader with those sordid little chapters.

As to The Bill Clinton Foundation and George W. Bush taking care of money for the Haiti earthquake relief project… Quel surprise! Not a lot of it ever got there.

Moving onto Bono who is apparently an icon of some repute, this is the guy trotted out on the world stage, as an actor of course, to pontificate about world hunger, climate change and any amount of dubious causes he cares to insert his overinflated ego, which has a direct correlation with his overstuffed bank account, as he waxes lyrical about the poor of this world and how there’s just too many of them. Coincidently or not, this is the same mantra put out by Bono’s friends in arms, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Ted Turner, Oprah Winfrey, George Soros and David Rockefeller who meet regularly as ‘The Good Club’ to discuss ways of reducing the world’s population.

But when we look closely at Bono, through his collection of idiotic ‘shades’, we find a rather large dose of hypocrisy. Perhaps that’s why he is never seen without the shades to conceal the pupil dilation evident in people as they lie through their teeth about the need for charity and other noble causes like ending poverty and child labour etc..

Bono is a documented hypocrite of the highest order. This is a man who has shipped factories from Africa to china to get a cheaper deal on his tacky U2 merchandise whilst ranting to the world about the issues mentioned above.

Not only that but when it comes to Bono’s own charity ‘foundation’ named ‘One’ after the U2 song of the same name, it seems that the ‘one’ is this case is the percentage amount of cash given to Bono which actually gets to those it’s intended to reach, with the other 99% going on fat cat salaries and other ‘administration’ costs apparently. I guess if Bono was running U2’s finances they’d have been bankrupt a long time ago

No… Bono and his ilk have been at this kind of scam for a while, and he’s not the only ‘one’.

So where does Christine Lagarde fit into this little tangled web of triplets?

Well, firstly she was under investigation as recently as May this year following allegations of embezzlement and massive fraud totally €400 million.

Although she appears to have gotten off with being charged, the language of some of the reporting is interesting with terms such as ‘avoids’ and ‘evades’ being used instead of ‘acquitted’ or ‘cleared’ being the usual terms used for someone who is innocent. Am I suggesting she may be guilty? To use the phrase ‘no smoke without fire’ would seem appropriate in Lagarde’s case.

Let’s face it… the €400 million went somewhere.

Of course, the IMF being a private organisation and known globally as the bully boys of The World Bank, don’t have to answer many questions as to the integrity, or lack of, in their employees and at the end of the day, who is going to question the boss on the issue of her own integrity and morality?

You see, when so called ‘celebrities’, and I include Clinton in that category, and people such as Lagarde and other heads of international corporations get involved in ‘saving the world’ or even saving us from ourselves, then we should be very wary of their personal agendas, not to mention their murky histories and backgrounds.

What do any of these three characters know about feeding the world or charity other than that charity comes from other people’s pockets, namely the general public’s?

Would any of us trust Bono to run a soup kitchen, nevermind a supposed charity helping the poor in Africa?

And would any of us trust a corporate banking elitist, allegedly caught up in massive fraud and corruption, to solve world poverty?

Are we all so naïve to think that these self promoting ‘experts’ know any better than a starving African on how to feed themselves? African’s never used to starve until Western governments and the Multi-Nation Corporations that own our governments started interfering in those regions many centuries ago.

Indeed, even the utterly corrupt and inept United Nations has at least said something honest for once.

So the obvious question which should be put to Clinton, Bono and Lagarde is…

Why is the United Nations letting them starve?
