Evidence In Israeli Temples Suggest God Did Indeed Have A Wife
Female figurines and inscribed prayers to a “divine couple” found in temples in Israel suggest that the “one God” of the Bible is not true according to Yahoo News.
A recent excavation in Tel Motza, not far from Jerusalem, found what archaeologists believe to have been a ritual building from the time of the First Temple, according to Israel’s Haaretz news site.
The find suggests that Iron Age religion in the area around Jerusalem was not as monotheistic as people thought just before the time the Hebrew Bible – the basis of the Old Testament – started to be written. Experts are increasingly suggesting that far from there being “one God”, there were many.
To me and for me, this is huge news. There are many ways that religious Christians, Jews and Muslims will take this and twist it to be some sort of satanic decieving find but in reality, this is how it is. Here is how I see it. Before the Council of Nicea, there were many gods, there were always many gods, as long as their has been man on this Earth, for all we know, there have been many gods. Then a Roman emperor came along and changed that forever. He twisted religion to be this lever of control and greed that has left a path through history with rivers of blood and tears.
These archeaologists and others who do the same work do very important work. Remember when they found god had a wife? Written on a piece of pottery found in Egypt? I believe it was later said to have been a forgery but seeing as how they are finding yet more evidence of him having a wife, maybe it was a forced confession. Dumb lol I know most people will just move on to the next story because this one is so stupid. But I just wanted to say, for the sake of at least a remark here for those who have no clue…..
There is only ONE God. Even the Old Testament prophets had to battle against all these false idols to some strange gods and goddesses. Some one even put a statue of the idol Dagon and it fell over! Lots and lots of gods and goddesses. People for some reason, have to have a lot of idols and statues. Even the Christian church was taken over by idols and statues. We are to pray only to God and worship only God. All these statues of “saints” were never sanctioned by God. It’s just an extension of the strange fascination for “seeing” God and wanting to “see” what we are praying to. Even the Mormons kind of have a “devine couple” in their way of thinking of Adam and Eve. It is only when people “get AWAY from God” that they start getting weird ideas of worshipping “mother goddesses” also. Lots of that going on too. Even now…. But that doesn’t make it “true” or “correct/righteous” or “Godly”. God will be sorting all of that out himself. And just because there are statues and pictures of women to excavation doesn’t mean God had a wife. How dumb is all that? lol Jesus said there will be no “female or male in heaven”. The angels are neither male or female. The spiritual realm is a whole new ballgame. Wife….lolololololol How dumb.

Can think of nowhere gender in heaven is addressed. Our Lord Jesus said there’s no marriage, that we’d be like the angels (as in Mark 12:25, Luke 20:35, Matt. 22:30), but this isn’t to say there’s no gender element(s), that one, for instance, wouldn’t appear to be like a man or woman, say as you appeared in your prime, but maybe with the nose you wanted? (Some have speculated we’d be as Christ was in His prime, 30-ish.) But given scripture indicating people would know their saved loved ones in heaven, unless there was no visual basis and some other sensory means, one could intelligently speculate people would be identifiable by some visual means, and changing to generic angels, or all men or vice versa, would make it difficult to recognize each other? All such things are speculation, though. We’ll know soon enough, with the Lord returns!

I don’t know why it’s so hard for people to grasp this. There is an omnipotent being, but the Old Testament isn’t always referring to that one true god. Sometimes it’s referring to other worldly beings that would pose as gods. They had a lot of good advice about what foods were safe to eat, how to store and prepare food, how to treat various medical conditions such as leprocy… In exchange for their help they expected us to ‘sacrifice burnt offerings’ on the altar. So they liked barbecue…
They knew about the one true god and told about his/ its nature but we kept worshipping them and making gold idols of them… They eventually got tired of us and left. They had direct servants they left in charge- priests and royalty. And these people edited the stories of what really happened back then reducing interactions with these beings to myths and legends.

In ancient times the Sumerians, Akkadians, and others too, believed that God was a being named Anu and he came to earth with his consort/wife who’s name is Asherah. There is a hill outside of Jerusalem where there’s a monument to Anu and Asherah, and it is said that the monument is on the exact spot where God and his consort descended to earth.

This is a non-story. The Old Testament records numerous accounts where Israel began worshiping the gods of the surrounding nations. They inter-married with them, adopted their customs AND their gods. It was for these reasons that Jehovah God chastised His people and on more than one occasion, as a loving parent occasionally chastises their child for disobedience, sent them into captivity only to bring them back after a time. This archeological data simply confirms what the Old testament already records.
Syncretism is the combination of different forms of belief or practice. B’ni B’rith seeks to syncretize various beliefs by trying to unify and harmonize them even at the expense of logic or critical examination. It was a compromise with the existing forms of religion that were already in Eretz Yisrael in ancient and in modern times.

Asherah wife of Yahweh is mentioned in the bible. She was worshiped in the most sacred temple Solomon’s temple. It is right there in the Bible. No big suprise there. People just see what they want to see and ignore what they don’t want to see. The one “god” was part of a whole panetheon, but he was a jealous cantancerous god who did not get along with his family so he told everyone to ignore all the others. Look outside of your little blinders and there is lots of proof.

I’ve been saying this for years, but never stressed that God had a wife, but that there were many Gods before Emperors and Priests in cahoots decided to make One Almighty God in order to regain losing respect of the population. Maybe they called their prophets God, because humans are not perfect and most people in those times were not well educated about science. In my book, there is only one God who is the creator and controller of the whole Universe. If not, then everything will collide and explode to nothing. Scientists can explore and expand on their research but they came to the conclusion that we all came from nothing, even atom. So, there must be a CREATOR. Faith is inherent in all of us. We believe in something or someone more powerful than us, i,e, some believe the sun is God, or the wind is God. It is up to us to find the true God, which has been given to the prophets. Miracles have been shown to prove HIS existence, but some of us are in denial, which is okay because God gave us “free will”.
That’s why it was worded “Thou shalt have no ‘OTHER gods’ before me”.

The Holy Spirit is usually describe as the female personality. The New Testament The Son makes three is the split between Judaism and Christianity….from duality to trinity.

Here we have two women representing two groups of people. Those who were barren, the barren woman who in the past who in the past rejected God, or her husband and suffered {Covenant} curses; barrenness was a {Covenant} curse; she didn’t give birth to children. And she now is to sing and break into jubilant song; those who are not in labor, not giving birth, those who are under a {Covenant} curse. So here is the group of {Covenant} people of God, who in the past transgressed, and now their transgressions are forgiven, because of the atonement and because of their repentance. Their transgressions are forgiven and their {Covenant} curses are reversed and become {Covenant} blessings. And that’s a theme all the way through the Book of Isaiah. Where there is a {Covenant} curse reversal and the curses are at some point reversed and become blessings.
We {Saw} at the beginning of chapter 40 which says: comfort and give solace to my peoples, says your God. Speak kindly to Jerusalem. Announce to her that she has served her term; that her guilt has been expiated. She has received from the Lords {Hand} double for all her sins. Now it’s over. She’s suffered enough and there is a reversal from humiliation to exultation, from suffering to {Salvation} on the same paradigm and model as Gods own reversal of circumstances from humiliation and suffering to exultation and {Salvation} , and that of the servant. Everyone on the spiritual ladder goes through that.
…The children of the deserted wife [that’s the one who is now received back, who now sings and breaks into jubilant song, that implied songs of {Salvation} ] The children of the deserted wife shall outnumber those of the espoused, says the Lord. So there is one that is now espoused. And the one that is received back, her children, which are a {Covenant} blessing, will outnumber those of the one who is now espoused. On the principle of the first shall be last, the last shall be first, and the reversal of circumstances that Isaiah talks about where one group of {Covenant} people transgresses and is cutoff; now he says there is another group of {Covenant} people who did transgress, who were cutoff, who are now received back. And those are the two groups of Israel; the ethnic lineages and the mingled lineages of Israel. Paul, in Romans 11, warns the gentiles who have come into the {Covenant} , whom he likens to wild branches of an olive tree, not to magnify themselves against the natural branches of the olive tree who were cutoff, who represent the Jews who rejected Christ. So here we have something like that going on. As he says that the Lord is able to graft those natural branches, or the Jews, or the ethnic lineages, back into the {Covenant} . And they stand to be cutoff if they then transgress.

She also begets in chapter sixty-six, which is cross-referenced there, “she begets a nation there, born in the day, born in the Day of Judgment.” That is the nation that comes out on exodus. Israel is born of the exodus out of Egypt so this nation is born out of the exodus of Babylon in the latter-days. There are those who are opposed to this work. Just as they were opposed to the Jewish Zionists when they try to re-establish themselves in the Promised Land—Palestine. So there will be those who are opposed to those who are trying to establish Zion in the end time and there will be those who fight against Zion and who answer back their God. …we are the offspring of God, is that correct? It is implying that we are the offspring of God here and that those who are the offspring of God, who are being reborn, who experience a rebirth on a higher level of the spiritual ladder are getting opposition from those who are powers of chaos, those who identify with the powers of chaos.
‘The shards of earthenware pottery’ means that they are going to be broken. Those who present that opposition are going to be smashed and they will be good for nothing. Shards of earthenware pottery are good for nothing.
