The coming government shutdown is scheduled for October 17, and it will be implemented during the following months like a slow motion hammer to the head. Here are five bad news details concerning this fiasco.

Government employees will get laid off. Oh, the horror and despair! Except, that they really get paid. So they will, in reality, be doing the same thing they have always done: do nothing and collect money. The only difference is that they won’t be in the way, regulating and taxing and…oops! Read on.

Taxes will continue, and regulations will be enforced. Heck, we don’t need no stinkin’ new regulations, we already gots us enough to last until the planet dies and becomes cosmic debris.

And the government employees that won’t get laid off include such luminaries as the IRS. And, yeah! They make the government money, so they aren’t going to ‘unpay’ those bad boys. Heck, the IRS is already beefing up for the coming hullaballoo.

Now, one thing a lot of people have overlooked is that a government shutdown will begin implementation of gun control. The people who process gun purchases and such will be laid off (remember, with pay), and thus the first step of gun control is now begun. As people run out of ammunition, or are surprised and confronted by assault weapon wielding Homeland Security Troops, the guns of America will slowly be rounded up and sent to a recycling plant hear you!

Last but not least on this mini-hit parade…There will be no leaving the country to escape the coming government shutdown, and accompanying gloom, doom and despair. You see, the passport office will be closed. You might make it to Canada, and you can always become a wetback going the other way, towards Mexico, but if ICE picks you up you will be sent directly to a FEMA camp.

The point here, the conclusion to all this silliness, is that the government is just going to shut down the parts of government that are not essential, such as guarantees of freedom, social security checks, and…health care. Health care, which not really got going in the first place, but whose tremendous cost contributed greatly to the coming government shutdown.

And parts of government that make money or are committed to the plans of the present regime, such as the IRS or DHS or NSA or whatever, will keep functioning.

Parts of the government that are deemed non essential, such as monuments, social security checks, sales of guns and ammo, and anything that smacks of disagreement with the coming fascist program, will be shutdown.
