Government Shutdown and the Celebration Begins!

I love the smell of napalm in the morning.

The United States Government Shutdown Causes Dancing in the Street!

When the United States government shutdown the other day, much gloom and doom was predicted. Actually, the opposite has happened. The writer has heard MANY comments like the following.

They’re not working? What’s new about that?

They’re not working? Oh, boy! Now I can get some work done!

And on and on and on!

The United States government, it appears, is not very popular with the people.

The real joke here, however, is on the people. The government may be shut down, but the government is still going to get paid. When means that the government is getting a paid vacation!

The truth of the matter is that there isn’t a government shutdown, there is only about a 13% shutdown. Which means that the people who make sure the monuments and cemeteries are getting the paid vacation, and the people at the Internal Revenue Service, or the National Security Agency, or the Environmental Protection Agency, are hard at work.

Hard at work spying on you, taking your money, and regulating you so you can’t get any work done.

And the Republicans are blaming the Democrats, and the Democrats are blaming the Republicans.

You’re not going to get your social security check! You’re not going to get health insurance! You’re not going to be able to get your passport…and it is all the other parties fault.

And the worst threat of all: the country will go bankrupt and default on their debt!

The truth of the matter is that this is just another dog and pony show while the global bankers play with money.

Either there won’t be a default, and the banksters will keep collecting their blood.

Or there will be a default, and the banksters will sell our mineral rights to China, or some other country, to pay for the debt.

The real solution here would be simply to recall ALL government officials, or just arrest them for malfeasance and corruption and downright stupidity.

Government shutdown? Thank god…now let’s go all the way and get rid of the people who did it.
