I have learned a thing or two about a thing or two since then. I wrote that article when I was just starting to wake up to what was going on around me. And to be quite blunt, if you think you are going to have time to reach for your gun during a full-scale confiscation, you may be sadly mistaken. Chances are you won’t even get to your guns before a red beam is dancing between your eyebrows.
We have to know what to expect. This is not about ego. This is about survival and living to fight another day. So sure, I can bow out my chest and talk about how I’m going to die a glorious death with hot smoldering brass up to my knees. I can talk about how they will pry my gun from my cold dead hands. The truth is that neither is likely to happen.
To understand the likely scenario we need to look at a situation in which full-scale gun confiscation was implemented and develop our strategy from there. Let’s talk about Hurricane Katrina.
Let’s get all thoughts of fantasy out of our head. We can’t assume that we will see them coming. We can’t expect a phone call from Bob who lives three blocks away. We can’t expect anything in this situation except to be surprised. Please listen to this account of someone who was there for the Katrina gun confiscation. This stuff happens with the precision of our military. This is not going to be Andy and Barney knocking on your door.

the citizens didnt fight for their country while they could actually win the battle, while they still had the means and could be effective and while it was not too difficult (compared to what it will be). they certainly arent going to suddenly grow balls and fight when the fighting gets hard.

They will divide and ostracize. The current laws that keep felons from possessing firearms will be expanded to misdemeanors and then quickly to anyone accused of any type of infraction of the law. The word “accused” is operative here. A mere traffic violation will be used to show an individual has no respect for the law and should not be allowed to own or possess a fire arm. A Protection From Abuse order ensures that all that is required for your weapons to be forfeit is an accusation by someone that you threatened or harmed them. No trial, no appeal, once the judge issues the order you have lost your Second Amendment rights. Same thing if there is any type of conviction, no matter how trivial, where probation has been ordered. All fire arms must be removed from your domicile. This is how they will do it, by making us all criminals.
The actual confiscation on a large scale would begin with several national “false Flag events” AKA dirty bombs strategically placed within large populous areas/city’s. Expect all levels of communication to break down including cell phones, Internet, TV and radio leaving shortwave for information, this is when obozo will declare “martial law” and confiscation just like Katrina yet on a national scale. As we all know… “Never let a good disaster go to waste”.
*Remember fellow patriots “epoxy paint Molotov cocktails” on the windows of heavily armored military vehicles renders them useless until the treasonous rats will be forced to come out into the light one by one for easy disposal on our terms.

this is why every gun owner needs to hide a cache of weapons NOT on their property as well as a small store of survival gear.
Unlike a shock and awe blitzkrieg of fighters in the air and bombs going off there is only a small window of time to implement any action like this, and when, or if it begins at all, it will not begin everywhere as was seen in the gulf war. This is insane to even think through, seriously are you going to tell me that they are going to successfully hit every single gun owner at the very same second in every single town and city in this nation?
I’d bet money that there won’t be any news coverage of it happening anywhere so as not to warn gunowners in other regions of the country. When you see them smashing in the doors of your neighbor’s home it would be wise to go on the attack. The arm holes in the body armor are the perfect targets–even with the bullet going through the top of his arm. Your bullet will go into the attacker’s vital zone.
also there are multitudes non conventional weapons easily made from appliances and air tools,,,do your homework,,wouldn’t it be fun to make and entire swat teams eyeballs explode in their sockets ?
Can of wasp spray and a Bic lighter works wonders, even if it doesn’t ignite, the wasp spray shoots 20 feet or so and will blind an attacker.
They are likely to kill you even if you are unarmed. They shoot dogs as a matter of protocol. They shoot people holding water hose nozzles. They shoot children holding water guns and BB guns.
So, your best option is to shoot and kill them. You don’t have to kill more than one.

Nobody can see the future. But I seriously don’t see any scenario where they just show up and knock doors down at 3AM. I am assuming there would be some kind of announcement, or change of law beforehand. They can’t just go all Rambo, it would scare the placated masses, and even the sheep might resist. They need to do this, all “legal” like. Or at least have the illusion of legality. This means they need a “Katrina” or “Boston” type event to get started. That is why they have done them. It was training for the masses. So you should have a reasonably good idea of when they may be coming and you can be ready. In a Boston scenario I would have had my guns on me and, or in hand at all times. After all there was a dangerous fugitive on the loose. Not to mention all those crazy swat types too. In Katrina, would be the same. There were looters to be concerned with, and as it turns out the National Guard were enemies of the people too. But now they have tipped their hand. We know they aren’t coming to help. We know they are the enemy, at least potentially. And I for one will prepare accordingly….

for whatever reason it cut me off, anyway, to finish- they’ll roll down the street at some god awful hour of night, probably bad weather as well, they will ”scare us” with some bogus message over a loud speaker like (insert city near you) has been nuked, you got 27 minutes to evacuate! millions of people will RUN to these buses, then, those of us who don’t buy it and hide in our darkened homes, will be ”afforded the opportunity” to seek shelter (turn ourselves in) over the next couple days, then, after that we will be considered the enemy. that’s when they’ll try to convince us (kick our doors in) that they’re here to help. at this point, murder no longer exists. it doesn’t exist for THEM now! it will be self defense, survival mode for us. i wonder why the writer had a ”change of heart”? there is nothing that can convince me, ‘i ain’t got a fighting chance’. if they kick my door in right this very minute, i WILL get a shot off, period. no doubt in my mind. one thing i can guarantee, if you get on that bus, you WON’T get a shot off. period. ever, ever again. THAT will be suicide. remember one thing, no matter what happens when, THEY are on a schedule, timetable, we are not. they don’t have 30 days to lollygag around waiting on us to give up. when they search houses, empty or not, they only have so much time to dedicate to each place. anne frank yourself a false wall, floor board, whatever, and ride it out. i have no intentions of having any need to walk outside my door for 30 days. i may be Rong but i think if there’s no sign of life from your house for a week, they’ll mark it as empty, never-mind 30 days. anyway, that’s my thoughts and plans. don’t EVER think you ain’t gotta chance! i don’t know who ”got to” the writer but don’t let ‘em get to you. we ARE the opposition party!
Even if you have no realistic chance of defeating them in a direct engagement, it’s better to make them kill you in front of the rest of the herd. They like to wait until they have you in some camp or out in the woods somewhere before they kill you, that way it’s out of public view and they still get to grand stand and pretend that they have the moral authority but if people see the other people getting slaughtered like pigs it will cause resistance to mount. If they don’t see the intent, they’ll think this really sucks but they’ll stand down in the hope they still might have a future, but if they realize the only hope is going straight through the bad guys, the dynamic changes.
In Texas there are so many of us that have CHL’s and that carry constantly that there just wouldn’t be an opportunity for anyone to get a laser on someone without them having as much opportunity to pull their weapon. Texas is not a state these people want to mess with I wouldn’t think. Just sayin’
What if they took Texas into consideration and tried a different tactic!

If they come for your guns they are the ENEMY PERIOD. You must not make any mistake about that. Nor are you to reason with them already.

Ok , They take our guns , Now what ? Well during WWII in the Philippines firearems were all rounded up and destroyed so then the freedom fighters made a very simple shotgun. Two pieces of pipe , one the size of a 12 guage shell , the other just big enough to hold the pipe with the shell in it. Next take a small nail , a roofing nail works best , a small piece of thin wood , push the nail thru the wood and trim the wood to fit inside the larger pipe . Then fill in behind the nail with a small bit of cement to hold what is now the firing pin. Sliding the smaller pipe down into the bigger pipe fires the shell . And the beauty of this is it can be hidden in plain sight ! Lean it up in the garage , along side the house , use it as a plant hanger ! You get the idea, use your imagination . Now the only thing to worry about is the ammo , and where to hide it . Somthing else to consider , know someone who was a teenager in the late 50s early 60s ? Ask them about a ZIP GUN !! Better yet do a search on the internet . Easy to make quick to use and DEADLY !!
omg zip guns were a blast lol…standard 3/4 inch black pipe fits a shotgun shell nicely,,drill a hole in a threaded cap the diameter of a nail put a small spring on the nail up to the head insert through hole and on inside of cap the nail goes through a small piece of kitchen sponge. just enough to hold the nail in place.
screw on the cap there ya have it ,,,emergency shotgun in under 4 bucks in minutes one shot but you can make a lot of them and there’s nothing illegal unless its pre-assembeled

Think about tools of potential resistance people. On my key chain I have a Cat key, machinery by brand are all keyed alike. I also know how to operate every piece of machinery Cat manufactures. Take an example from the native Indians in Canada at OKA when their land was expropriated for a golf course. Heavily armed natives from all over showed up in support and other showed up with construction machinery, They picked up an entire fleet of cop cars and stacked them into barricades, It was a beautiful sight and the army had to be called in with armor to diffuse the situation. The power in an innocuous looking piece of machinery would make short work of an APC able to flip it over like a matchbox. Strings of disabled tractor trailers and or machinery would soon make a barricade etc. A bit of creativity and thinking outside the box could easily derail any of the PTBs plans.

I have seen some good suggestions here. Let me ass some. If kids are not a problem, keep a loaded firearm within arms reach in each room where you spend the most time. ie. bedroom, computer room, etc. Your best chance to survive is out of the city, but if they come for you before you can move, you can only hope to take as many of them with you as you can. They will get you and kill you or hall your azz off to a FEMA camp. I would rather go down kicking and screaming than to be led away in chains. But that’s just me.

One, you have to be armed at all times I am. Two, now that the people are aware more are ready and prepared. Katrina was a complete surprise attack no one was aware at all. Three, you have to shoot first no hesitation no thinking you can threaten these guys off your property. They will kill you the second they see something is up. Always be prepared. Yes, bend over and go “oh, may I have some more?” They will either be working in small areas and you will know they are coming, or they will be spread so thin they will be easy to handle. Either way what kind of country will this be if we all roll over!
I see what your saying but I feel that your wrong about some of us. there are those that even go as far as to sleep with there guns in hand at night and are very light sleepers. this person may even take down 3-4 of them.
I think the most important attitude you can have is confidence. When the lights go out, pantry runs dry, and tap is shut off, you will have one heck of a time trying to convince your family not to drive out to the nearest bus staging area where there are promises of a hot shower with 3 hots and a cot. That’s how they’ll round up the masses, and they won’t have the resources to knock on doors – they’ll use drones with heat imaging to map out where the rats are holed up. So, what do you do? I’d suggest moving house to house as soon as the evacuation is done. Never stay at one place for more than 24 hours. They’ll call you a looter, which will make killing you easier, but you’re dead either way. This way, you’ll have a fighting chance.
Pile up a large circle of sand bags about 4 feet high. Make yourself a bubble where a rotating machine gun can be used. Get your favorite swivel chair next to the gun and open fire when these dogs come breathin down your street
I’ve always wondered what will happen when “They” try to confiscate guns and other weapons of choice from the street gangs, mafia-type gangs of all types and assorted criminals.
Some us are trained to sleep with our assault weapons, fully locked and loaded, just like the loving arms of a woman except when the door breaks in you simply start firing at the door and hit the floor. Yeah! You’re probably dead but you will take a few out and if you train your family right they will all be sleeping with a weapon. Think I’m crazy? I’m as lucid as any of you. The key is trip wires around your house and other key elements to let you know they are coming like outside motion sensors. The key is eliminate the surprise. Also, make friends with your local sheriff because they are on your side, it will be the Fed’s, it’s always the Fed’s.
I am a member of the Oregon Army National Guard, When the authorities went to the National Guard Unit’s the first one directed to confiscate firearms was from Oregon which the command had refused and refused any orders that would violate any ones constitutional rights. From there the authorities went down the line until they got to the OKLAHOMA National Guard which the command was all too happy to execute. Just an FYI.
