Is Alan Watt alive?

Alan Watt is alive.

Strangely, he was missing in action from his regular broadcasting gig on John Stadtmiller’s Republic Broadcasting Network.

Apparently, there was a conflict. And Alan is no longer doing his once-a-day gig:

His last broadcast was on October 10, 2013. Alan devoted the last few moments of his show to let us know something happened at RBN and they “shuffled things around.” That left Alan without a regular home to broadcast (although he promises to do more “blurbs” and make guest appearances).

I used to be one of Alan Watt’s biggest fan and promoter. I’m also one of Alan Watt’s biggest critic. It’s a love/hate relationship I’ve endured for “donkey’s years.”

For me, it all started when I stumbled upon Alan Watt in an under-the-radar GodLikeProduction forum post back in April of 2006.

I found what seemed to be my ultimate soulmate…

… I couldn’t believe this guy was missing from my life for more than 35 years. It was like I found my real dad (with a charming Scottish accent as a bonus). He literally completed me. His thoughts about how life really works directly paralleled mine… right down to how religions are nothing more than manufactured constructs to control the masses.

This was about the same time I realized how the September 11th attacks were completely faked by the military media. It hit me really hard that just about everything in our lives is a hoax… and Alan Watt’s thoughts helped me connect the dots and fill in the puzzle pieces.

In fact, if it wasn’t for Alan Watt, I’d continue to jump from rabbit hole to rabbit hole in my search for my meaning of life.

Alan Watt literally shaved decades worth of time from my search for the truth about life.

Alan Watt’s prediction rate is stunningly high. It’s as if he was a messenger of the elite (much like Carroll Quigley was the official historian for the top movers and shakers in his day).

I always knew something about life didn’t quite make sense. And it was Alan Watt who helped me fill in the missing pieces.

There are SO many new things I’ve picked up from Alan Watt – stuff no others have even hinted about… for example: how city living is a trick to get us to lose independence… the importance of being our own leaders… how to win back our survival skills… (and most important) the concept that we live in a script that was crafted years before events happen.

I could go on and on.

I was so enamored with Alan Watt’s pearls of wisdom, I felt compelled to kick up my thirst for knowledge. And as a result , I quickly became a regular caller into his broadcast.

Strangely, this was the first hint that something about Alan Watt wasn’t quite right. And as time marched on, this strangeness turned into big concerns for us regular listeners.

For me, I was stunned that Alan Watt never once answered a single question of mine. At first, I didn’t think much about it. But each and every time I’d call in, Alan successfully spun my question into la la land.

Apparently, I’m not alone in getting the run around as a caller:

During this time, Alan Watt weirded a lot of his listeners out by joining pied piper and scare monger Alex Jones as a regular guest on his show. That was a hard pill to swallow after hearing Alan Watt personally call out Mr. Bullhorn as a terror to the public back in May of 2006:

Even more troubling is Alan Watt was a featured performer in Alex Jones’ “Fall of the Republic” documentary:

For many Alan Watt followers, the plagiarism accusations were the most damaging. Late in 2009, rumors of plagiarism surfaced… and soon after side-by-side comparisons proved Alan Watt did indeed steal entire chunks of images and content from “The Kealy Paper”:

Even more troubling is Alan Watt’s listed address is next to a military NORAD base. (That’s always bothered me.)

And the dog Hamesh… the quietest dog on the planet. Never heard it bark once. Does Alan Watt even own a dog?…

… Does Alan Watt even live in Canada? I ask because over the years, Alan would occasionally say something like, “That’s how we do it here”… and that “here” was referencing jolly ol’ England. I know, I know… a small and subtle observation, but I’m anal like that.

And the nonsense that radiation from Japan is going to affect us all (my investigation shows there was no event at all at Fukushima… therefore it’s all scare mongering). Alan Watt is a sharp dude. He has to know Fukushima is nothing more than pure scare mongering.

Worst of all: the never-ending psychic driving that the world is a dangerous and horrible place to live… that we have little time so enjoy it before it ends – this is the same doom and gloom stuff Alan Watt used to poke fun at more than a decade ago.

I could go on and on.

But I’d rather focus on all of the positives.

Because the gold nuggets Alan Watt have given to us over the years FAR outweigh the drivel. I’ve picked up more real knowledge about how life really works from Alan Watt’s pinky finger than all of the “truth leaders” combined. “I’m not kidding!”

I find it quite interesting (in a good way) that a very small number of people listen regularly to Alan Watt. Publicly available stats show his main website fetches less than 20,000 unique visitors a month. For comparison, my little website gets triple that number. And Alex Jones’ websites attract many many millions of unique visits a month. I always pay VERY close attention to those with small followings.

The good news from all of this is Alan Watt inspired me to start this website back in 2008. And since then, I’ve hosted hundreds and hundreds of hours of audios dissecting how life really works. These are audios about similar discussions (except I’m MUCH more optimistic about life… and I focus on real solutions instead of doom and gloom predictions).

For most Alan Watt fans, the most popular part of his broadcast was when he’d answer caller questions.

So I decided to take that concept and kick it up a bunch of notches…

Broadcasting every single day of the week is beyond a full-time job (as Alan Watt discovered). So I only host “Stump Markus” periodically (and by invitation only).
