Kimbra – Come Into My Head = Elite Symbology

New Zealand born (one time Melbourne, now Los Angeles based) singer/songwriter Kimbra has taken the world by storm as a sultry and intelligent performer armed with a funky and eclectic sound. With maturity and song writing prowess well beyond her years she has transformed from a quirky Kiwi into a very much in demand diva de jour.

This is a girl that we have been following since she first came through the Melbourne Indie scene in 2007, whose pure talent, both vocally and musically, brought a small bar to their knees in awe of her magnificence. A bootleg video of her performance of the single “Settle Down” recorded at 303 in Northcote, Melbourne, still appears online to this very day and can be found easily.

You might know her as featuring vocalist on Gotye’s chart soaring single “Somebody That I Used To Know” (the title which, by the way, sent shivers down my spine upon seeing her transformation in this video, and the song itself secretly (although not at all subtly) features the melody of the beloved children’s nursery rhyme “Bah Bah Black Sheep”, note the xylophone riff; if that is not a subliminal tool used to sell the fluff records that helped to launch Kimbra’s career worldwide than we don’t know what is).

Since her relocation to Los Angeles, however, it appears as though Kimbra has joined the growing community of mind controlled patsies that have been initiated into the occult society that call the shots not only in the business itself but, more frighteningly, the world at large. The web of deception is thick and intricately wound, and unfortunately, the esoteric nature and affects of their subliminally programmed propaganda is corroding away at the very fabric of human existence.

This leads us to a very unsettling video that we watched yesterday of Kimbra’s new song Come Into My Head. It is the latest release off for 2011 album “Vows”, directed by Guy Franklin for Warner Music, debuted 20 September, 2012 and the official video has been viewed around 400,000 times.

The symbolic nature of the video appears somewhat disturbing and the occult elements are so sadly obvious. Kimbra described the clip as “an exhilarating, challenging and wild experience to shoot, it’s my favourite one yet!”

This is a theme that has been seen many times in music videos over the years, most recently with B.o.B featuring Nikki Minaj’s Illuminati derived effort “Out Of My Mind” directed by Benny Boom, coincidentally (or not at all) for Warner Music, from which you can draw many parallels.

The video is set in an asylum (secret societies conduct brain washing and mind control on their prey in these very types of institutions), Kimbra plays a heavily medicated disassociated patient. Under the observation of six nurses and her doctor (the seven devils, or seven deadly sins) who conduct a variety of tests on her as she is locked in an examination room and sits in a chair atop a checkerboard floor staring at a clipboard that reads “CIMH” or Come Into My Head. Possibly tempting her captors to view firsthand the damage they have caused.

For only a split second we see Kimbra, doused in red lighting, standing confused and dead eyed with a self drawn red line on her head holding a scalpel, her hair and dress in disarray.

The rapid cutting between pure, innocent (white) Kimbra and the tormented, tortured (red) Kimbra points to an internal conflict being waged inside her, consuming and overpowering her.

After becoming frustrated with the succession of questions, the answers are dutifully noted by the doctor, she is next shown standing over him and dancing like a crazy person. His keys, now loose on the floor, offers her a chance to escape.

As she dances, becoming more and more detached from reality, her fractured personality successfully completed when the examination room becomes pitch back and falls away and she experiences the full effects of her now disassociation from the very walls around her.

After she returns somewhat to ‘reality’ she straps him to her chair and the duality of Kimbra threatens the doctor with a scalpel (here we see the inevitable “one eye” symbolism) before she turns it on herself and performs a lobotomy. Poor girl.

After a fit of mania lobotomy-induced featuring all of the states of her fractured personality, she wakes up on the checkerboard with blood seeping rapidly from the head wound and adopts the above/below pose synonymous with occult worship.

As seen above, we have the Washington Memorial that also shows a similar pose. The pose, originating with Baphomet, or Lucifer himself.

Taking his keys, Kimbra, complete with a bandaged head, attempts to escape. Dancing menacingly down the hall, between her and the door she traps the seven devils that have been tormenting and corrupting her.

The video ends abruptly and seemingly implies that it didn’t end at all well for her captors, as they turn in vain to open the door she blankly shows that now she is in control, now of course, that she has been suitably programmed.

Most memorable lyric: “But from the pews of the congregation, you’ll never know the real salvation”. (Kind of her to rub it in, don’t you think?)

An interesting sidenote: Kimbra is currently embarking on the “Let’s Make Our Vows” Tour and her album is eerily reminiscent lyrically to Florence and The Machine during what appeared to be her initiation period.

This is a giant blow close to home for not only us but a lot of the enlightened musicians in Melbourne, it goes to show that nobody is safe from the terrible faux-reality that they have us tread if we choose to take our craft to its fullest extent. The illusion of fame has destroyed too much already and we can’t afford to continue this way. Art is being corrupted at a grass roots level with false ideals of fame and fortune for those unwilling to see the dark forces lurking, or it is being silenced forever as we begin to acknowledge the truth and realise within ourselves that we don’t want a part of it.

Truth is power and enlightenment is ours to gain – we just need to stop deluding ourselves with the looking glass forced upon us by people who see themselves as above humanity.
