How Bad is the News in the World?

There is a lot of bad news in the world

But how much of it is really bad?

First off, North Korea doesn’t have a nuclear warhead. And if they did, they couldn’t get it anywhere. They’d shoot it into the air and it would likely drop right back down on the silly son’s palace and, zingo bingo, there goes the war.

 
And ditto for Iran.

And, in the case of Iran, we have the Israelis all ready to rock and roll.

So we are going to go broke, the dollar is going to squash, but if that happens, the banksters won’t have anything either! I’ll tell you, ruling a country where the people don’t believe in you and go out and grow their own food and even have guns…it’s not something the banksters want.

Okay, how about the doofus in the white house? So what if he came from Kenya, was educated by Muslims in Indonesia, had higher education by college communists in the United States?

Look, for the last five years he has plotted his spider’s web, and we’re all sitting around laughing at him.
So what if he declares himself dictator of the United States? It doesn’t mean he is! It just means he’s living one more of those stupid Washington delusions.

Okay, what do we have left?

Oh, we’re running out of water. Except that it falls out of the sky, we can tap into the oceans, and it just about free if you’ve got half a catchment brain.

And, let’s not forget energy. We’re running out of energy! Except that the sun is free, and there is solar power.

And the oceans rise and fall, and we have tide power. And the winds blow, so we have wind power.

Heck, there is no end to the power we really have!

And, in a pinch, we could just hook up wind turbines to those blowhards in Washington and let them power the whole durned country!

So, look. We’ll probably have an event, but we lived through them. We’ve lived through Pearl and JFK and 9/11, and we’re still standing strong. So I know there’s bad news, but it’s sort of a limited bad news, and the real bright future is sitting right in front of us, just waiting for us to ignore the politicians and dig in and have ourselves a great old time.

So, let’s rock!
