Radical New Miracle Material Graphene, Could Save The World's Economy (Videos)
By Josey Wales
Have you heard of Graphene, a radical new material made from a single carbon atom?
Often dubbed “the wonder material”, graphene promises exciting applications, from flexible electronics to energy storage.
Graphene is also being hailed as the new “miracle material,” and for good reason!
It seems the possible uses are vast. Flat screen TVs as thin as Saran Wrap… nanotech devices that put the power of a mainframe computer in the palm of your hand… and brain implants that combat Alzheimer’s. Graphen’s impact on global business will be staggering.
Imagine a TV screen as thin and flexible as paper.
When kitchen cookware flashes a warning if it detects E. coli. Possible treatments for damaged spinal cords. It’s not science fiction, these are all possible applications of a material known as graphene.
This amazing “wonder material” is proven to be 100 times stronger than steel but thinner than any known solid.
The video explains how graphene’s incredible properties come from the unique arrangement of its atoms. Graphene, like diamonds and coal, is made up entirely of carbon.
But unlike those materials, graphene’s carbon atoms are arranged in two-dimensional sheets, making it incredibly strong and flexible. Since graphene also conducts electricity as well as copper, it could lead to flexible cell phone touchscreens and transparent, inexpensive solar cells.
Ongoing advances in manufacturing graphene are bringing these and other devices closer to reality.
Graphene is silently being reported in some mainstream media sources as well. Take this report by Forbes relating to stock investing!
Graphene is a crystalline form of carbon in which carbon atoms are arranged in a regular hexagonal pattern. It is very strong, light, and an excellent conductor of heat and electricity. It is also nearly transparent. New laboratory techniques for creating large sheets of graphene, including a roll-to-roll productionprocess, have triggered an explosion of research into new practical applications taking advantage of graphene’s unique properties.
Some potential cleantech applications are solar cells,
ultracapacitors, water filtration and desalination, and electronics including touch-screens and better transistors. Graphene’s high electrical conductivity and near-transparency make it a good candidate for solar cells. Researchers have demonstrated the use of graphene conductors for dye-sensitized, organic solar cells, and silicon nanostructures.
In this report the EU has pledged a billion euros for research into graphene at a consortium of institutions across the continent. The amazing material is strong, flexible, an excellent conductor of electricity and heat. Some say graphene may well revolutionize computing, telecommunications, and engineering.
One of the closest applications to commercialization is graphene ink used to lay down circuitry. BASF SE is experimenting with graphene ink for printing flexible circuitry on car seats, something it hopes to commercialize in a few years.

China actually produces a lot of the stuff, one of the main hold ups in developing graphene technologies is the ability to make pure sheets of it for an affordable price. Supposedly it can even conduct electricity better than copper.

Still think Hemp could do the same thing.
Just saying.
+1
Hemp can not be owned by corporations as well, where as graphene is subject to patents and complex construction.
@RMS- yuuuup, and it would be soooo much cheaper to produce!
This site is so heavily laden with spam that everytime i come here it bogs down my pc. Lots of ppl say the same thing. Thinking about never returning!
How do save some thing that is not lost.
Eat this stuff and chew on it for a while, its good for you!
