(N.Morgan) I guess no one could ever accuse this guy of being a genius huh? Technology is making is harder for criminals to commit crimes. Or if they do, they always seem to leave a cell phone record or in this case, they actually alerted the target.
Larry Barnett, a car dealer in Jonesboro, AR, has been under investigation by the local police department and the Secret Service for forging bank documents and bilking his bank out of $80,000 to $100,000. Mr. Barnett’s crimes apparently did not end there.
Mr. Barnett owed a former employee a sum of money and he decided to hire someone to kill the former employee so he would not have to pay him. Unfortunately for Mr. Barnett, while he was plotting the murder with the hired killer he accidentally called the intended victim who heard all the details about the plan for his murder. Ooops!
