What is the Sunlight Shift?
The Sunlight Shift is NOT a “get healthy quick” scheme, It’s THE 1-YEAR lifestyle program that provides you personal progress through health education and self-discovery. It is the premiere wellness program in self-health and is now interviewing candidates for January 2014.

Once enrolled, YOU will join a small group of other SHIFTERS who become your shift partners throughout the program. Groups are between 4 and 8 people, and provide a safe space to share and grow together. You will never feel alone in your own private e-forum of group members, where you can share stories, pictures and encouragement everyday. Transforming your lifestyle can be challenging, but when you work together, you can change forever!
You and your group will be taught, motivated and held accountable by a Certified Holistic Health Coach. Unlike your MD or ND, your Coach is there to answer your questions and concerns through the e-forum or personal email at any time. You will also have the opportunity to set up a one-on-one call with your Coach and dig a little deeper.
The Sunlight Shift curriculum goes through 3 phases, (Diet, De-Stress, Detox) and moves at a slow and steady pace throughout the year. Meeting by phone two times each month, you have time between sessions to explore new program material, implement new habits, and take one more step toward your goal. This approach ensures an amazing personal transformation that will last a lifetime.
What Will You Learn?
During the DIET phase, you will learn the what’s, why’s, and how’s of healthful foods as you adapt, one step at a time, to an eating practice that will improve your well-being and promote healing. Every two weeks, you will be given lessons on how certain foods and food combinations affect your body, introduced to new food items or habits, and provided guidance on how to best select, prepare, and store certain foods. This is the first phase of the Shift and it is designed to gradually introduce positive changes rather than overhauling your entire routine at once. Each step toward the Sunlight is also a step away from where you were.
In the DE-STRESS phase, you will learn to manage stress and be guided through self-exploration to discover a life full of gratitude and love. This phase of the program involves the development of all three human centers – mind, body, and soul. You will be introduced to exercises such as Yoga and Interval Training as we dive deep into the practice of Meditation and Awareness. Sessions will include lessons on the Ego, desires and emotions, and how to control external drama. You will be encouraged to step out of your comfort zone as you assess relationships, let go of resentments and confront fears. Stress is a wall between anyone and true health, after you learn how to climb it, you will learn that ‘there is no wall’.
In the DETOX phase, we will guide you to cleanse your body naturally as you flush away toxins and strengthen your internal body. You will learn what toxins are, why they accumulate in the body, and how to recognize signs of toxemia. Sessions will also offer techniques to practice in order to become familiar with the fundamentals of detoxification. You will learn how Diet and De-stress play a role in true Detox, and you will have opportunities to learn from others who have direct experience with this practice. This final phase of the Shift gives you a level of understanding of the human body that is incredibly simple and empowering. It gives you the tools you need to know true health for the rest of your trips around the Sun.
